I got my Notify Me email and went there to buy. But the site doesn't have any posted info about which are the new or old version. I did not buy because I don't know WHAT is available!
One day they're new (but some members say no.) The next day they're the old version but postings say a 'mixed bag'. HUH???
I'm a COV fan, but telling me something 'has arrived' AFTER ALL OF THE DRAMA ABOUT IT IN THE LAST FEW DAYS (that COV is definately aware of) and not have any version info at all is almost unbelievable to me.

There was not a word on the site about what ce2 version you're actually going to receive. I left stunned... with no purchase.

Umm, as far as my MAP tank from 4 weeks ago is concerned it doesn't matter what version of the ce2's are in it to me. They work much better than in the little tubes that are the "clearomizers" imho...

I got the old version last week after it was posted all new stock was the updated version but someone posted earlier they got the new ones. I put a ticked in last week but still have not heard anything back yet so I give up and will just eat the loss and know better next time I guess.

I also got the old versions.I ordered the black xl CE2s and they will not fit map tanks. The bottom of the CEs2 are to small and they leak.Wish I would have known to order the SS ones.

Did you cut the tubes or remove them? In order for the Ce2's to fit the MAP Tanks you cut them about 1/3 inch from the battery connection. Most times you need to remove the black raping in order to get a good fit.

yes M&J you say CE2's. CE2's are not meant to be used on MAP Tanks.

I beg to differ with you Ce2's are exactly what works in a MAP for a replacement coil, you cut the metal tube and install the coil into the grommet. Ce2 clearomizers not not able to be used in a MAP Tank

I believe we have some terminology mixed up a bit. At both clouds of vapor and royal smokers site itself. Microcig I believe shows it better and I will correct the terminology on COV now.

Microcig Innovation Technology

Royal Smoker CE2 is a clearomizer, the Giantomizer is a larger CE2 inside a shell. The C as I read it stand for clear and not cartomizer.

E2 (with no C in front) are the metal ones that are used in MAP Tanks. referenced as Cartomizer Edition 2 on the microcig page.

on bruces site the menu is labeled wrong but the product descriptions are correct

for example: Ready Made Cut E2 For MAP Tank 2.8 ohm etc

I'm no expert so I want to know which is which. BUT the Microcig site you linked says Cartomizer E2 then when you click on the picture it also plainly says CE2. For some reason the bottom of the picture didn't show in my post, but click on it on their site and you'll see what I'm talking about...

you are correct, this is very confusing and im not expert either.

i do know for sure that the metal cartos are used on the maps, the clears will not work.

i think bruce needs to take a trip to china to straighten some people out! lol

im not 100% sure but i dont think i have ever seen a metal RS cartos box say CE2 on it, I know the Clearos say CE2 on them though

Inside the box on the instruction sheet it sez C-E2 this is for both the metal ones and the clearomizers. You are right about the metal ones not saying anything on the box about what model they are.

The old CE2s in my map tank were all solid smooth metal round. The ones I got out of the CE2s XL black Royal S were preferated (Lines running Vert all the way around them) The base of the ces2 out of the black ones were just a touch smaller.I had to dig up one of the XL CE2s that came with my map tank and I saw the difference.it is slight but just enough to make a difference. At least so far.I could be wrong. But the new ones I got of the Royal S I got from COV.Looks like the ones the clear O mizers take.

This sounds like Clearos. Can you post a pic? Are you saying you are able to disassemble your black metal E2/ce2 ??? The tube slides off?

Hi gang! Back from Philly!

---No driptips that I know of fit the 306 Boge Cartos.
----I call the Metal RS E2's and the Clearomizers CE2's. I know the instruction sheet refers to both as CE2. But, for our sanity, "C" stands for Clear or Clearomizers.
-----If you need cartos for your MAP Tank, get the XL E2's. Is everyone with me on this?

Check out the all new GGTB with 510 connector! Hits like a beast! Everytime. Its the easy way to join the GG Family!

yes another confusing note i found on RS site about E2/CE2
CE2 is a exclusive product, you only can find it here (patent has been applied), the EDITION2 Cartomizers are Made by Microcig.com for RoyalSmokers and you also can order smaller quantities by www.e-liquid.cn. We believe that the current cartomizers in the market aren't clean enough that's why we like to offer this COTTON less EDITION 2, we have also an updated version without sticker on it, all same coated as the battery and easy refill system, more safe more clean, less bacterial, just the way you want it and needed ..!

MY BOLD

So does the C mean Cottonless?
