So... Protank 3 coils in a Protank 2?

Negative ghost rider. Just tried it. The Aspire bdc coil will screw into the base of the protank, but you can't screw the base on. The coil doesn't work with the center air tube. No workee. 
I just watched a SmokenJoey video yesterday and he said that the Protank 3 coilheads do NOT fit into the Protank 2. Kanger just wants you to buy the whole tank, again, and again, and again.
Glad someone asked this, I was wondering too. Bugger the answer though, it would have been nice to not have to buy another tank.
I honestly wasn't blown away by the vape from the Aspire, and from what I can see the coil design looks the same on the pt3. Unless there is something i'm missing, I won't be replacing my current stable of pt2's.
I like the ProTank 2 a lot..... I'll wait for reviews to come out on the 3's before I make up my mind whether to purchase one or not.
Damn you kanger... You want me to upgrade protanks like I upgrade my iphones huh?!

I just read about modding a Protank 1/2 to dual coils, with photos. So if you're handy at wrapping Kanthal wire, you can make your current ProTank into a PT3.

Kanger was supposed to make a new coil w non resistance legs for the PT types, sounded like decent feature to cure stank blues.
Guess it was just Vape Wind....

Are the bases interchange? Maybe if the pt3 base fits on the pt2 it would work?
Actually "inside vapor" has some insight on the -Kanger Super- that is currently under construction.
It's a coat hanger wrapped around a Mop head stuffed into a small trash can hooked up to a car battery.
Its going to be a one piece unit but I bet it will really push out the vapor!

Darn, I had the same idea, except I wanted my mop head/coat hanger coil hooked up to an arc welder.
I totally disagree with this review, I have been using the protank 3 for a week with the same coil right out of the box with great vapor and flavor but everyone has a different opinion works great for me
