It depends on many factors. Perhaps someone is using a thick VG juice and don't want to thin it out for use in carto, or perhaps someone dislikes that "carto taste" and doesn't want to fiddle with CE2's or etc.

The vapor from dripping is un-matched to this day, and the same can be said for TH and vapor production. I have been a dedicated dripper for 2 years and just recently I have been calling it quits with leaking, flooding, etc. I have taken to using Vision Clearos and old trusty boges.. but from time to time I drip again to remember what I am missing.

Hassle is subjective. Some actually find it more of a hassle to constantly fill cartos, fiddle with tank mods or etc, honestly I think the simplest vape out here is the Reo since I was given one by a good friend.

All the taste, none of the mess and durability to write home about, win-win if you ask me.

Easiest (to me). With a drip shield, there's no mess.

And it's how I "time" my self. Otherwise, I'd be a fiend (not that it's a bad thing, but work gets in the way at times).

And I didn't like that "carto" taste. Tanks seem to work well. Or rather, it did. I can't seem to get the right number of holes in my cartos with tanks now. I've kind of given it up.

I've poked four holes in my boge carto, and I get nothing. The only time I got something was when I pierced it right through, then of course the thing leaked. I've given up on tanks for the time being.

I vape Vg. I vape clove. I drip. Only way I'd vape. I tried clearo but my clove juice craks em in about 2 hours. Tanks don't work well with my high Vg. And carts well they suck. I don't like the taste of pg. Oh, and since I am using clove, I have to shake my liquid before i drip. If not its not mixed. Once you get used to dripping, its not really a hassle to me anyway. Only sucks to drip while driving when its dark out. Too many deer running around here. Every once in a while I get leaks but that cuz I drip too soon.

Oh bottom feeders would probably work for me. No money to buy a mod like that. Making it seems easy tho but too lazy....I'd also would have to get a 4aa box too since I like vv. or Make my own box which takes a little more time to think.

Thanks for all your responses! I'm really trying to get a handle on this one as I can see the beauty of the simplicity with regards to no hassles with carts, cartos, etc. If you are all a little more patient, I have a couple of more questions. How many drips would you use and how much vaping would you get from them? ei - 5 drops and 9 vapes? Also, what about flavor contamination? I am a huge fan of flavor! Do you have atties for your go-to vapes and then others for flavor trying? If you change flavors, does it take long to get the previous out out? How long do your atties last and what is your favorite atty to use? Thanks again!

    in a cave, eh?
I just drip 3 drops at a time. When the flavour wanes or you get a dry hit, it's time to add more drops. If your atomizer gurgles, you want to stop dripping and try vaping off the excess.

You might want to look into the Cherry Vapes drip tip. They're nice and deep to prevent juice from spitting into your mouth from overdripping.

I drip with a Riva UNC (1100 mAh battery) + atomizer + celluloid drip tip.

Why? Because it delivers nicotine to my brain more efficiently than other things I've tried. Crave -> pow! knocks it right out.

I drip 3 drops at a time, seems to last fairly long. Possibly because I also use a regular Riva set up (with cartridge) most of the day so go back and forth which keeps the atomizers cool, because I don't like hot vapor.

For some reason I find dripping less fussy and messy than filling cartridges or cartos, even though the carts need refill less often. Dripping is fast to set up and clean to re-drip.

I don't change flavors all that much but dripping will burn off the old flavor during one vape session.
If I was a purist I would just switch to a clean atomizer and drip tip.
PS I vape VG most of the time, so from what I am reading here maybe that is why I like it so much.

If you decide you like dripping there are a few options. For on the go dripping there is a Vapemate, a bottom or top fed mod, and some links to a DIY atomizer tank.
    Drac

Oooh I will have to check that out - haven't had to travel since I started but will in the future.

Ps I never got hot juice in my mouth but I had read about it so maybe I was cautiously vaping at first. The drip tip I use is fairly long 3/4 inch or 2mm so maybe that helps too.
