On my honeymoon last year my wife and I went through a tiny airport in WY, there was probably 15 people in the airport that didnt work there, it was kind of off season.
So I am going through security and the kindly older TSA lady exclaims at my
mod (just a simple zmax at the time) and says is that one of thos e-cigy things?
I explained to her that it was indeed, just larger than she likely has seen, to which she agreed. Then she asked if I would mind letting them x-ray it and show the supervisors so they had some good shots of it so they knew what it was and how it should look.
I said sure, no problem, and they brought over the TSA supervisor and a couple leads, went through the bomb residue scanners, and took it into a large x-ray machine and capped some shots of it.
They were very appreciative of it, and thanked me profusely for allowing them to take shots and show it around so it would be easier for them during that summer (this last).
I thought that was really cool. Let them see it, experience it, see how it scans. Hope it helped them see it as business as usual!
