so me and my friend were up at my local mall just hanging out, and we walked past the Green Nicotine kiosk. well, if you know anything about these douche bags, you'd know that they're the worst @#$%ing scam in the E-cig industry next to the "Free trial" offers. Well, the person at the kiosk went up to me and my friends and asked us if we smoked, to which I immediately responded "GREEN NICOTINE SUCKS" and walked away. Well, the lady friggin FOLLOWS us for about 25 feet and goes "EXCUSE me? why do you say that" and I explain that their E-cig is a piece of .... thats worth about 5 dollars, but they try to sell for about $50. I told them people aren't going to fall for their crap anymore and told another person who they were trying to sell to to go to this site and get a 510 ego or something. The lady was ......!

I bought an njoy several years ago .. I paid $120.00 .. was it a good choice .. no .. did I know any better .. no

Point is, if someone buys even a Mall kiosk unit and sticks with it, ends up doing some research and moves on to better hardware, in the process quiting the analogs .. is that not a good thing .. ??

Don't dis the player, dis the game ..

Well if they are RN4081's they are worth a try for anyone still searching for an ecig they like. Just get some decent RY4 to go with it.

However I did just by a pair of cool-looking shades at a kiosk and they broke in less than a week. Buyer beware!

I can't begrudge the kiosk guys for their prices seeing as they pay between 2k and 4k a month for their little space. I started that way to and it is what got me to quit as I had to opportunity to try before I buy. Best $140 I ever spent and fortunately it didn't take long to find my way here for some reliable advice and information.

However, I do take issue with the false claims they tend to make about a cart being equal to 1 - 1.5 packs of cigs.

Approach e-cig kiosk with customers. Pull out your eGo (or whatever) and emit cumulus volumes of vaper. "Wow, I paid less than that for this!" Then hand out ECF Cards.

I found the NJOY atty to be the most reliable and long lasting atty I tried, excluding the 510 atties I used to buy. Unfortunately NJOY doesn't sell a 3-piece RN4081 anymore and I don't trust the other RN4081 distributors.

The real problem with retail sales is the crappy juice that comes with a kit. If opening another kiosk nearby, I'd sell juice not hardware. Probably a lot more mark up can be had with juice anyway.

IMHO,
Dave

Considering if you produce it yourself you can make it without nic for pennys per ml. And the nic doesn't add a lot of cost.

Don't dis the player, dis the game ..

Just because my team ended up winning the game doesn't mean I won't dis the :censored: :censored: that clotheslined me in the beginning of the first quarter. Also, if everyone dissed the player, the game would probably change for the better, no? :p I know... the impossibility of a utopian society...

I'm just sayin' ;)

Besides being overpriced , the bigger problem , with the mall e-cigs , is they don't work well, at all . Some people really get disgusted with the results and just give up . Where , had they started with , say an Ego , or an Ego clone . They would still be vaping , and enjoying life , and improving their health , all at the same time . So , I say down with the mall rats . And vaping , your Ego , or Mod , by them , is a very good idea .

to everybody whoes saying "do research first", you're right. the problem is, this guy makes EXTREMELY over the top claims, and tries to support and make money off of some of the claims the FDA has made, such as:

1. the whole "flavors attract kids" thing. they claim that this is true, so they only have 2 tobacco flavors and one menthol flavor, therefore, they claim they "only partake in ethical marketing". here's an exact example of what I mean. read this and rage.

2. The general claims you saw in that video. The whole lie about "nickle", their cartos lasting 50 cigarettes (which MUST be false advertising, there's gotta be a way to sue them for this. any lawyers here that could comment on that?), etc.

3. The claims the people at the kiosk make. This is the most disturbing (yet probably the most expected) aspect of them. They say things at the kiosk that they know there's no WAY they could make claims about on their actual product packaging, website, etc. for example, one guy told me that they "passed all the preliminary inspections by the FDA" and that "they were the only e-cig that uses propylene glycol and not di-ethelyne glycol as a base". They also made claims that the FDA wants to approve them. Also, they outright make medical claims, such as the water vapor from the E-cig acts as a humidifier and cleans the tar out of your lungs (which is probably true about any e-cig, but if they got caught saying that crap, the FDA would shut their asses down in a heartbeat).

I'm sorry, but in my opinion the Mall is taking advantage of people that don't know what E-cigs are, so they spend 99 Dollars for a starter kit than can be bought at a convenience store or Gas station for 19 Dollars. I can't help what it cost them to rent space at the mall, but they know they are ripping people off and keep doing it, they know there is way cheaper alternative, and won't tell you or they would be out of business. They will never tell you that the cartomizers can be refilled or carry E-Juice, because they make even more money when you have to come back to them to buy over priced non refillable carto's. JUST MY OPINON about my Mall. I have owned a few businesses and I believe in a fair price, not gouging. They don't sell allot of kits and I think if they sold at reasonable prices they would sell more and make the same money, maybe more.

My cable / Internet / Phone bill each month is about $200 .. my analog habit used to be about $6 bucks a day .. things are relative ..

I figure it this way .. since the e-cig industry has no ad campaign at least that I know of, the Mall guy is actually one of the few places the word is getting spread .. which is a good thing ..

How else do folks find out about the tech other than just word of mouth .. ??

Is it too expensive .. ?? Probably .. but what's you're health worth .. ??

I lol'd at when you said they sell 5 dollar products for 50.

I think you meant to say they sell 5 dollar products for 150.

:p

Ya those mall guys get me everytime. I feel so bad when I watch someone check out with there new junk kit. I wish I could say something, but I'd rather not get in a fight with a trained salesman.

100% agree. Its not that there so over priced, its that they tell everyone that any other e cig isnt safe. I started with them and didn't want anything to do with anyone who told me Green Nicotine is crap. I was like "at least mines the only safe one". There spreading hurtful info. Thats not cool bro...
