So wet behind the ears ( re: DIY) that my FEET are even drenched !!! Need menthol help!!!

Hi y'all!

Well, I took the plunge and did so on a budget. So I don't have a bunch of flavors yet, (hardly any actually) but I do have PG and menthol crystals and some 36mg all VG nic juice.

What I really want to do to start is make a 10% solution in a PG exclusive mix, meaning alcohol free.

So, is it as simple as powder-fying a gram of menthol and mixing it into 10mls of PG, then just adding it on top of any bit of e-liquid that I either make or purchase?

Or

what?

Is it really going to suffer sans alcohol or is it just fine without? Really rather not mix the alcohol.



And, also since I have some 36mg nic, once the hypothetical PG menthol liquid is made, can I just incorporate it as a "flavor" in a calculator-type recipe? Just to nic-a-fy some of the 36mg ?

You pretty much got it. I use 2.5 grams per 30ml, but 1 gram per 10ml would probably dissolve no problem. You don't even need to crush em, given enough time, and maybe a bath in hot water, it would dissolve. You should wear gloves when doing this, and make sure not to touch your eye with menthol-y fingers.

You can use this stuff as a menthol ingredient in calculators. You will have to maybe experiment a bit, figure out how much of your mix you like using. After that, you can substitute it in recipes that call for TPA menthol, or other stuff like that, at your own percentage.
