Not to worry, adult behavior returns several weeks after receiving it. In the meantime, enjoy the misc. posting to up a thread count, polkadot tongues, cookies talk etc, not to mention sharing the anticipation with others and all the madness that insues while you wait for your newborn.

I started reading this thread well before I ordered my Chuck, and thought....wow, these people are crazy! Look at them, pining over a PV, checking the board multiple times a day just to hopefully catch a glimpse of their unique custom piece. "I'll never be like that" I said. I swore that I'd put in my order and then not worry about it, letting time pass, and whenever my Chuck arrived, it would arrive.

Well...I couldn't have been more WRONG. I checked my order date earlier today and couldn't believe it had only been a week. A WEEK?!!? Holylongestweekever Batman!

The only things that will get me through the remaining days and weeks is knowing that somehow, unbelievably, other people have managed to wait without spiralling into sheer madness AND the excitement of the arrival.

Any words of inspiration???

seriously, i haven't had this much anticipation for something in a long time and i just ordered it 2 days ago. my 510's will be my 2nd backup and my ego will be my work pv. yeah, i've spent over $350.00, in the last 3 weeks, but i feel so much more better, health wise.

quaker, i so agree with you, even though I just spent some more money on atty's, some batteries and a charger...lol!!! I just want to be really prepared when my chuck comes in. I got an email from Jeff today, so now I'm really stoked. He didn't give me an ETA, but I'm more than willing to wait. Yes, the anticipation is killing me, but I know it will be well worth it when my baby arrives..

I was rifling through my 510 batteries while waiting, I think a few of them hit the wall during the process. I have them in a baggey in a dark little cabinet, they were letting me down big time and I am now paying them back by never letting them see the light of day again!
