So who else is anticipating the birth of their Chuck in the next few weeks?

Just for kicks I was counting the number of new-borns since the day I ordered mine and at 100+, I saw it...

There have been 35 since I ordered last Friday. If Jeff keeps this up I may not have the full month to wait! :)

On a side note I got my batteries in today. Should I charge them? I heard somewhere about letting Li-Ion batteries drain further than a certain amount will harm the longevity of them... I can't find it now I was just wondering if anyone else has heard that.

Thank, Thye.

Thye got it right, NSG. CMJ is the last one in Post #62

The artist's name is Joan Miró and I sort of wanted to call the Chuck "Joan" but don't know how to pronounce it -- it's the only time I've ever seen Joan as a man's name. Based on what Wikipedia says, the closest I can come is Juan with a "zh" sound in front of it.

ETA: And congratulations to anyone else who's Chuck was born yesterday. I think there were some other beauties in the nursery. Like any proud parent, I only have eyes for mine. :)

Congrats new parents,
jambandphan03 OMG those are so beautiful. My lil chuck would love yours.
Is that your own artwork? If so you are one talented cookie.

Jeff did good.:D

:D Thanks for the kind words! Yes, The blue one is the first graphic art I designed back in '05 and the green bamboo/buda is a composition I designed for a band called EOTO for a show poster when they played here in our back yard "Lounge" . I removed the text and shrunk it down to fit on the chuck. I have many other graphic art images, those were just my two favorites, maybe I should start a chuck art collection ;)

Ordered our full-size "BuddhaChuck" on March 11th, so we're over halfway there.

Had a heck of a time deciding what graphic to use until I stumbled on this high-rez Mandlebrot fractal "Buddha". 'Shopped in a few wispy strands to add some color and maybe represent smoke, and...

Can't wait to see what it looks like. Checking the newborn thread is getting obsessive.

That's a cool design, it will look great on a chuck!

Me thinks Jeff should buy my place, not far from where he is now and it comes with mongo garage, big boy play room and a 4000sq foot framed shop along with my money pit of an oversized house. Commercial zoning to boot! It is crying for a man who can be awake 20 hours a day! LOL!
Unincorporated, no inspectors. :D

Looking forward to seeing your chuck in hand Poeia. With all those colored attys, how cool...your chuck looks like it will be fun to accessorize.
