Why has no one ever posted in any of these? It would be really useful to find shops that you may have not known about or to find something you want to actually see and hold before you order it online. Am I missing something?

There's a bit of that just all over the forum, when folks find another ECFer in their general area, especially those of us who live near sizable cities.

They're around! You could check out the "Are you a tootle puffer?" thread, pretty sure there's at least one in there... and several others I've seen around, though exactly who or where is escaping me just at the moment.
This forum is most of the reason I've succeeded with vaping; the people here are just amazing, they're so helpful and friendly. Some of the usual 10% too of course, you can't avoid them, but at least they're a small minority.
