I seen this stuff online and I wonder if it maybe can be used instead of solder and maybe even to make small PCBs . Here is what they say about it .

conductive adhesives are generally not a good Idea...they add resistance...( not as conductive as metal)

Yeah, basically metal particles added to glue, but hey, your connections would run warm.

Dude, the proper tool for this job is a soldering iron. You'll be a lot happier with it. Unless there's a very specific reason you need to avoid it...like it's dangerous for you to use for some reason..... I'd get one.

The only reason I am asking is because I have a small regulator chip and the pins are so close together that it won't fit one of the prefab pcb boards sold by Madvages .

Its interesting, but perhaps not viable for mods?..

Pins can be bent to fit the prefab pcb, just be careful.

From what I have read the silver conductive paint is 0.02ohm - 0.1ohm/cm^2 here is a link for conductive epoxy that has some specs Silver Conductive Epoxy

Just an update in case anyone cares . I ordered these breakaway pins so I don't have to bend the IC pins so much . RobotCraft Components
