Solid or Hollow what are the main differences.

I have an Aga t2+ sitting on a zmax v2

Took me a while but I mastered the coil and wick set up pretty well. I would like a bit more vapor. I am wondering what are the differences between solid and hollow wick setups.

Here is my 2 cents....You want more flavor then my advise to you would be to use slimmer wicks with more wraps. Right now I am vaping on the cobra....2mm wick....9 wraps of 28g wire....1.2ohms. If you like carto type flavor and warmer vape then this type of coil is for you.

I roll my wicks comfortably and don't try to jam as much wick as I can in the wick hole. The wick comes out flexible with a small hole in the center....so it is a semi-solid wick. I don't oxidize my wicks. I set up using the PetarK method.

Hollow wicks are a crutch that essentially allows the wick to operate as a straw to feed juice to your coil, and require tilting to work.

Solid wicks rely on actual capillary action to transfer juice to the coil, and as a result also wick better and don't require tilting.
