I made this USB RN4081 Passthrough that is solid state but really not that solid, I have to find some kind of box for it because the solder joints always break and I have been through 2 switches already. I have found that superglue is a baaad choice when soldering. It is haggard, I already know. I also have a excess of solder but for countless times of re soldering, this is what I got, and it works so thats all that matters. Tell me what ya think! You can diss it all you want lol

If you're having trouble with connections breaking, try sealing the exposed bits with Tool Dip for strain relief. It's a liquid rubber meant for making your own custom grips for tools and comes in a variety of colors including black and clear. Home Depot and Lowes both carry it (brand name, Plasti Dip.) Hell, protect the vital openings from getting sealed shut, and dip the whole damn thing, "Han Solo on Ice" style:D. It's rated for temps of up to 200 F, will seal out moisture and will also keep them stray 'lectric biteys from gittin' ya. It's semi flexible but durable.

You could go with the Tool Dip it works very good or you could even go to Radio Shack and get a small battery box and mount it inside.
Looks great and congrats on your mod!!
