I know he wont but someone posted a link on this thread or Raidys All My Mods part 1 a while ago and im up to page 139 on this thread then I will have hundreds of pages on Raidys thread to go through , so I thought I would ask, I know Turbo collates all sorts of info, it was worth a try lol
Raidy tried. When I said dual coil i forgot to mention dual wicks. Has anyone tried a dual coil with two wicks?
This could also allow for two differebt types of mesh to be used.
It seems to me that a dual coil further complicates things with the extra wire and likely just sounds impressive.
If you want to alter wicking properties with a coil and surface area, you can make tight coils with loops very close together or spread them out over more wick for more surface area.
Dual wicks or maybe dual genisis, that might be something.
The SCUBAGENv3 design can handle dual coils, rather than make the horseshoe wick, just insert 2 seperate wicks and wrap each with a coil. With the spring clips it would be easy to wire in parrallel so if one burns out, you have the second.
Was thinking of this days ago, just havent got around to testing it out. LOL
Oh BTW all SCUBAGENv3's are paid for in the Co-Op, the order goes in tomorrow!

Having the ScubaGenv3 is going to be great. About 3 weeks ago I modded 4 CE2's , 3 of them with SS wicks and Kanthal. I am still using only one of the best hitting ones after 3 weeks of use with no considerable change in flavor. My only gripe about it is that the tank is tiny and I have to refill it 2 or 3 times a day.
With the ScubaGen I will be able to have it as my main goto vape and use the small CE2's for my after dinner dessert vapes, morning vape etc.
How are you soldering the kanthal?
I can't get that stuff to stick at all. So I am using nicrome.
He calls it Cloud MachineWhat were his results?

I bend j hooks on the kanthal and on the leads and crimp them together then flux and solder with silver solder. The solder will stick to the lead wire and form a ball securing the kanthal.
