Even though my typing/spelling is terrible I will be glad to post my impressions when it's built.I wish I would have taken typing in high school.

Hahaha .... you worried about typing ... I was never learn english I was learn german but (when I was young hmmm) I was play guitar and learn some of english through Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, David Bowie .... songs.
Its very hard to me typing understandably especialy now while we start this project with Hybrid.
That not mean that I know german :)

Screws are the only way to go. I've pretty much homed in on what I like with my juice and the drag I prefer. 20cm of #400 rolled to about 1.8-2.0cm, 5 or 6 wraps of 0.20mm kanthal. Wrap a coil, check Ohms, adjust by adding or removing a wrap to desired resistance (~1.4-1.6Ω). Changing/cleaning/adjusting mesh or coil takes under 5 minutes and only requires a needle nose pliers (screw driver in your case :)) note: you do want a height difference. In mine I clamp at the bottom of the nut on the right and end finish clamping at the top of the nut on the left. Clamp end, wrap snugly while adjusting each coil spacing with a toothpic as you go, clamp other end, check ohms to be sure it's not shorted to kanthal and fire it.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Wow, that is really nicely done, you said PCB, but I thought a little board like you had, not the full interior. Really nicely laid out and integrated with the atty tank flush inside the box too. Inspirational. Ive come to like a bigger mouthpiece of 14-16mm, so for me that top of the alu tube would be as far as it needs to go.

Hybrid .... second day progress :)

Very interesting to see an American-built lathe in a Croatian shop.
(I looked at the Haas lathes for my plant's production shop but their largest model was still too small.)

**please excuse the off topic post... I have more experience with machine tools than kanthal...
