Some interesting info about OSDIY Shop

First, let me say I have no financial interest in OSDIY shop, nor do I receive anything for posting this here. I've recently had a few conversations with Kimberly, one of the owners, and thought I'd pass along a few things here. By the way, she gave me her permission to post these things, since they were part of our private conversations.

OSDIY shop will definitely be in business even after the FDA deeming "stuff" (whatever that finally comes down to) takes effect. They'll just totally stop selling eliquids. Their other flavorings, blends, measuring supplies, etc. will still be for sale. Nothing on their website will be geared/identified as specifically for vaping. So...those of us who really like some of their flavorings and blends won't be out of luck getting more. (Good news to me since I've discovered I LOVE their Lucky Shot and Baked Cinnamon Roll!)

Second, they now offer First Class Mail shipping, instead of the $6+ Flat Rate Priority Mail they used to have. So people who want to place just a small order...can do so AND save some $$ now.

Third, their website loads quicker now. I'd had a "fit" with it while trying to place my first order. It took forever, so I left a few comments about it in the Order Notes section. She actually called me (was great Customer Service I thought), and I pointed out a few things that could most likely speed it up. They made some changes, and it's definitely faster now.

Last, they have a coupon code for any ECF members to use, as many times as you want to. Just enter ECF during Checkout, and receive 11% off your order.

I hope these things help you save some $$ and reassure you about always being able to get their products. I know it eased my mind!

I have shopped at OSDIY for many years now. Kimberly is a member of a DIY mixing group that I belong to on FB. The group is rather large and members are very helpful. And when questions are asked several respond( alot like here lol). I don't get there often, but enjoy reading the thread.

Thank you for the information. It's good to know they will still be around and as suspected they like many other vendors will need to change there marketing strateges. I recently placed a large order during there memorial day sale and like many of there flavor offerings. I'm sure that many that don't DIY will be disappointed when they stop selling pre mixed juices and I'm sure as many other vendors stop offering pre mixed that this sub forum will get pretty busy with people needing to learn. We are already starting to see it here.

I'm happy to see they will now be offering first class mail as an option for shipping , a few times I've needed only a few flavors to complete a recipe but held off till I could place a lager order to justify the $6.
Now if I could just remember to use the coupon code I will be able to save a bit more.
Question , Would you know with the upcoming regs if will they still be able to carry the 36mg and 48mg nic ?

Thanks! I've ordered from them before. I liked them but shipping was too high. That's nice to know they have first class mail now. They may get more of my business. Also, I got an email from them not that long ago that was talking about all their flavors for candy making, soaps, beauty products, etc. Super smart to implement that now. They have the flavors and vg/pg for beauty products. That made me happy that they jumped on that so fast.

From what Kimberly said, they would not be carrying anything that was only vaping related. So, I'd say they wouldn't, since it's not used in candy making, soap making, beauty prducts, etc. and especially since they're definitely doing away with their eliquid section.

They are smart in doing so. I'm sure they make the most money off of flavors and they have made the choice to stay in business. I'm hoping Bull City does the same thing.
