Ok..yes my kit did come with cartridges..so I remove the filler and put the empty cartridge on the other end of the atomizer and drop enjuice in that. I'm so glad I asked. Thanks for your help.

Ok..I'm editing. So I still can drop ejuice directly onto the bridge(cotton ball looking thing) But I need to put the empty cartridge back on. I have a mouthpiece. Wold that be the same thing as an empty cartridge?

Hmm...are you sure. You aren't going to drip around the cotton ball. You're going to remove the cotton ball completely. Throw it away or put it in a drawer somewhere. Then drip a few drops straight into the atty, in the center. Put the cartridge, (which is now your mouthpiece) back on. vape. When the vapor thins or starts tasting burned, pull the mouthpiece off and drip some more drops into the atty. Put mouthpiece back on and vape again. If you have a drip tip, you won't have to pull off the mouthpiece (formerly the cartridge) between drips. You can drip straight down through the drip tip into the atty.

I just tried it and it worked. My goofy terminology is messing everyone up. I was calling the part within the atomizer a cotton ball because it looks like a teeny tiny cotton ball. So..it's ok to get that part wet? That's what I did and it worked ok. I know that's different than the material within the cartridge. I didn't use a cartridge at all. I do have a drip tip but it's teeny tiny. I just used the mouth piece and pulled it off to freshen the atomizer part.

Bye jove..I hope I got it! :) I will try to be careful and use the correct names from now on. I was just a little frustrated and wanted to make sure I could explain what I wanted to ask. I have used cartomizers since I started vaping so it was difficult to wrap my mind around using an atomizer and then to use it without a cartridge. I'm sitting here going huh? It's such a different animal :) Thanks sailorman.

Is that your "cotton ball"?! If so, that's metal foam/wool on the bridge. Try bridgeless atomizers, they are much more fun to drip into...

Yes..that's it! Thanks elfstone. I just thought it looked fuzzier. oooooooh bridgeless atomizers. Now I get to buy something else :)

Thanks again everyone for pulling me through this excruciating episode..you've all been great and oh so patient with me. I will do my best to try to use the correct words from now on.

this new lingo does get confusing at times but glad to hear you have it. on another note were can these bridgless atties be found? I want to give this dripping stuff another try but I am a little worried I will burn out another atty as fast as I did last time I had one which lasted maybe an hour or so.

Hey elf... I was just looking at those bridgeless attys.. how do they work?? I've used the attys that came with my KGO with not much success,,, I get a couple good vapes, but it always ends up just tasting burnt and yucky (technical term there). With no bridge, where do you drip? In the center? Down the side? Now I'm the one who's confused!

Lightseeker, thanks for asking! They are surely questions I would have been asking too, you saved me a step lol :)

Sissylala, I ordered Chuck Norris Blood from Fuzion Vapors. They also have flavors called Magnum P.I. and Mr. Myiagi lol I don't know if they will be good or not but they sold me with the names lol.

Is it tomorrow yet??? Lol

luvinit: I had the same pitiful results dripping on the atties that came with my KGO! Don't know why.

The bridgeless ones are better for me because they give cleaner flavor - there is no bridge with wool to get gunked up, and there is no wick to get burned. Also because I can switch flavors rapidly without any / too much residual. I can't imagine tasting my DIY concoctions (which are still horrible, but getting there) otherwise.

There is just a coil in a ceramic cup. You drip right into that cup. Around the cup, there is some stuff that prevents leaking to a degree. The more expensive ones leak less and have a more consistent draw, and also the coil lasts longer. Also, the "burning death" taste of a dry hit is more forgiving, and it disappears promptly once you drip more juice (unlike the bridged ones, in my experience).

Thanks elf.. I'm glad to know it's not just me with those atty's that came with my KGO. I think I'm going to try one of the bridgeless ones.. I seriously hate to waste a good carto on juice that I don't care for. Not to mention, it irritates the hell out of me that I can't seem to get the hang of the whole atty thing.. maybe those will work for me!
