Up until recently, I had really only bought juice from AVE and HHV. I got a bit burned out on HHV (still like them though) and with the whole AVE closing I was forced to look elsewhere (and strangely I seem to have lost my lust--not my taste, though--for AVE). So I branched out and tried several different juices from several different suppliers: Cafe e-Cig (OK), goodejuice (definitely NOT my cup of tea), Yaeliq (OK), Nitelitevapor (decent), Nicoticket (still early in my sampling but so far so good) and Indigo (LOVE Indigo).
Recently I tried a new order from Good Life Vapor. I had previously tried El Kamino and thought it was pretty good but not as great as some were saying. Also tried English Bulldog, which was pretty bland but not bad. All juices below were at 6mg and mixed at GLV's recommended PG/VG ratio.
My new order consisted of Black Fairy, Magic Fairy, Newminster No. 23, Nana's Nuts, Deadly Sin, and El Kamino. The EK was much better than I remembered and I am seriously enjoying it right now. The Fairies have the anise/licorice thing going and they're OK, I'm not really huge on the taste but they're not bad for what they are. The Black Fairy has a much sweeter, more candy-ish taste to it, which the Magic Fairy is stronger while still retaining the same underlying flavor notes. I'll pull these out when I want something different but they are not ADV material for me.
The Newminster I'm not certain how much I like this. There's a distant similarity of this one to the Fairies, but there's some blackberry in there. Again, not bad, but I'm not sure how often I'll be returning to this one. Time will tell. I also tried Kosmic Krunch from their "Virtu Line"--supposed to be a Captain Crunch (Crunchberries, I'm assuming) type flavor. While I enjoy the flavor, I'm not much a fruit/berry person and wished there was more crunch than berry. It's very clean tasting and it's actually really good, my biases aside. I'd reorder it again.
My 2 faves from this order (aside from the El Kamino) are the Deadly Sin and the Nana's Nuts. I have a love hate relationship with bananas in e-juice...sometimes it's awesome (Gorilla juice and Banana Slurry from AVE, Captain Ron/Captain Oorah from Indigo), but sometimes it tastes really phony, almost candyish with an underlying alcohol note (Banana Montana from goodejuice, Vapin' Chimp from HHV). GLV's Nana's Nuts is awesome. Banana is definitely there but not overpowering, it's very smooth and creamy and non-fatiguing. A slight nutty undertone is present which balances things out nicely. It's fantastic. Deadly Sin is one of the seemingly ubiquitous tobacco/dessert vapes, but this one is definitely a keeper. Not overpoweringly sweet, but definitely the dessert element is pronounced and enjoyable. There IS some tobacco there, but it's not much and some might not even consider this a tobacco vape. But it balances out the sweetness enough for me, and this one is definitely ADV material.
So to summarize, the Fairies and Newminster are not bad, and as of today will probably not get reordered. Kosmic Krunch I'd buy again if I were in the mood for that type of flavor. The Nana's Nuts, El Kamino, and Deadly Sin are all killer and will definitely get reordered, probably in much larger quantities.
I know I'm not a seasoned juice reviewer, but I hope this helps anybody looking to order from GLV. Vapor production is phenomenal, the flavors taste pure, and even though there were a couple that weren't my cup of tea I would highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already.
