Hello,

I am a newbie when it comes to custom mods. These mods all look so interesting and I want to learn how to make one. I was tempted to buy the vv box mod kit from madvapes but I didn't because I don't like the idea of turning a dial to change voltages.

I need a project to do. I want to make a mod that is variable voltage and can change voltages with buttons rather than dials. I also want to be able to see the current voltage settings on a LED screen. If anyone has a guide that shows step by step what I need to do and which parts I need to buy to get started on this neat project it'd be wonderful! (Links to the parts will my my life much much more easier)

I am about to go to our local hardwar shop to buy a dremel and some other tools. Please, if you can, give me a list of tools I will possibly need.

Thats a great start for VV mod. It's what most guys are using. I'm making my first Mod also. I'm going with wood. Cedar as a matter of fact. Theres a thread in the battery mod section that you can read thats called L2596 VV mod. Read it from the beginning anmd you'll find out anything you need to know. Thats what I did, lol. My first will be a strait 3.7 18650 set up. Once I get that one behind me I'll venture into VV, lol.

The only thing I get from MV any more are 510 connectors...

If you are going to make a VV BF a good place to get pre-made bottles/tubes is from the Reo site or Sweet Vapes (the Grip)
For the VV module, go with BJ's offering the LM2596 (MV's, it's a linear reg, not the best option) If you want something that takes up less space check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/191607-easy-okr-t-vv-mod.html ...Electronic Components Distributor | DigiKey Corp. | US Home Page is your friend

For nice wood boxes, check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-forum/293326-wildman-wood-mods-part-2-a.html
