I have a lathe not sure what you want made though. If you can make a blue print of the part so i know the measurements. I also only have 304 stainless stock on hand that's 9/16 in diameter. So if that will make what you want i can turn it this weekend sometime. let me know.

Sounds like he wants his own Scubagenv3 turned...

I'm looking for someone with a lathe that can make me the metal ss core for a subagen3 to fit a provari. If you can help me out pm me or reply and let me know how much $$ and we can make arrangements. If anyone reads this and is willing to sell theirs I would be interested.

Fender there will always be someone who sells one of their scubagen3. Just keep an eye out and pass your name around on this forum. trust me there will be many people looking to get one of these. good luck to you.

If I'm not mistaken, anyone can start a Co-Op. Right?

I mean if you have a blueprint, shouldn't you be able to start one?...

Get pricing on 100 pieces and see who wants in.

Or, am I missing something here?

You sure are correct zap. It would be pretty easy.

Hey dan. Thanx for posting your link. I did receive your pm but I still have a hard time searching through the posts. Thanx for letting me use the print.

Java. I appreciate the offer to even entertain helping me. That was super kind of you

I would for sure start a co-op if I had time. With ny wife just having a baby I couldnt do that in a timely fashion so I wouldn't be fair to anyone else. Maybe we can do like a 100 order co-op with a 2 purchase per person minimum. Then we only need 50 people.

All this of course with scuba's blessing. (I'm pretty sure posting the print is just that. If another co-op starts for this I would gladly pay for scubabatdans core if he wanted another one.

You could count me in for at least 2 as well. I missed the last co-op and have been hoping to see another one come along. I spend alot of time traveling so I don't really have access to a machinist. But if anyone else would like to start it, I would lend as much help as I could to it.

Again, only with Scuba's blessing. He has contributed so much to this forum and the e-cig community as a whole, I would hate to go against his wishes in this matter.

What is the depth of the connector opening. I see the width but no depth.

Also need total length of body and cap.

My uncle has no imagination so every detail has to be spelled out in triplicate. On the plus side you get exactly what you spec out.

Total length of the body is 2.25" the opening on top is .094" tall, connector depth is.278".
Total cap height is .433"

That help"

Yup that helps.
I just got off of the phone with my uncle and he had a couple of more dimension questions.
He needs the width of the positive wire gap and the dimensions of the beveled portion on the bottom.

He will do a run of 100 for $15 each. After the first run he will adjust his price according to the amount of work it actually takes to produce them.

Now we just need a volunteer to handle the money and organization end. I can pick up the finished product and whom ever is handling the money side can email me the shipping labels to send them out.

He will need at least a week lead time as he has to fit the run in between his other regular customers.
