First of all, I am not here to saying V2 is bad. V2 has lots of good stuffs. I just want to complain about their liquimax....

The thing is I ordered 3 liquimax. I was excited when I get it, because I was trying to quit smoking by using it. And I did.:D. I am tobacco free for a week already, and I think I won't go back, ever. :D

I was so happy with V2 and the liquimax. I went online and bought another 15 liquimax, also their notebook passthrough (Yeah I know that's a lot of liquimax, but I just want to order a lot so I don't need to order for a couple month...). In the same time, I bought some other juices. And the nightmare starts here........

One day, I was thinking to clean my liquimax, I washed it with hot water, and letted it dry overnight..The second day, I putted some juice in, letted it set an hour, I vaped it, and I got a terrible burning flavor.... Then I thought.. Ok, maybe I shouldn't wash it.... I opened another new liquimax, putted some juice in, set an hour, vaped... GOD..same burning taste.... Then I realized that it might be liquimax's problem... I contacted CS, and what they could do is let me return then, but I need to pay the shipping, and also restock fee... Come on.... If it leaks, I understand.. But getting burning taste from a new one....:blink::blink:

After that, I did some test, and this is what I got:
1. If you are using a notebook passthrough, you might get the burning taste after about 3-4 draws.(2 secs between draws)
2. If you are using a battery (V2), you might get the burning taste after about 6-7 draws.(2 secs between draws)

It seems like it just doesn't have a good wick, but it is sealed, and there is nothing I can do.

So, do you have the same problem with it.?

In the Mist
I have been using the same 3 Liquimax clearos for a month now. They have been cleaned and refilled with several different juices many times with no reduction of flavor or vapor. And no burning taste. This is how I clean mine....

-Pour in some vodka and shake for about a minute then pour out
-Pour in some distilled water and shake to rinse then pour out
-Pour in vodka again. This time go just below the top of the air hole
-Put on one of the rubber carto condoms on the fill end. Flip it over. Make sure that the wicks are covered completely with the vodka
-Let it sit for an hour or so
-Empty out and rinse again with distilled water
-Shake out the excess water and let them dry for a day
-Reuse

The reason I let it soak upside down is so the wicks get a chance to completely soak and so the alcohol does not have any effect on the seal at the battery connection. I also use distilled water because I have read that tap water can have an adverse effect on the coils because after it dries it can leave mineral deposits on the coils and wicks that may cause the coils to burn out prematurely.

Try some Kanger T3's...Same concept but you don't have to worry about the drip tip comiing off cause it doesn't! You fill it from the bottom. I use them all the time and never had a problem. Let me point you in the direction of my vendor. Everytime I have had a problem he has sent me a replacement with no questions asked. That paying for shipping and restocking fee is crazy!
