Something I made for my Volt

I'm a jewelry maker and was going to make a lanyard for my Volt 78mm. I'm thinking I'll make it a purse charm instead. I didn't want to bead it completely because I love the color of the purple battery. So I netted it instead and this is how it came out. What do you think?

Definitely pretty, but... Won't the beads scratch it?

Haven't really tested the durability of my Volt yet, because I'm afraid to. You sure it won't come out of this all dingy?

That's a good question. So far there have been no scratches and I've pulled it on and off many times and even did the beading around the battery. I will have to test it out more to see if it does any damage. But like I said...so far nothing.

I finished it and I'm glad I went with the purse charm. It just didn't look right hanging down my chest
Went and got some matching beads for the raspberry battery.

Oh wow, that looks beautiful.

Y'know, it's times like these that I lament the differences between men's and women's fashion. I love shiny purple things, but I have this niggling feeling that if I walked around with a purse with purple beads on it, I'd get some funny looks.

Especially given that I'm not an effeminate guy.
