No batteries, they are something different. Imagine a flattened straw, with a folded piece of papery material inside. The ends are sealed, so you have to cut them off with scissors, then you suck air through it, and the air picks up nicotine off the paper. You feel a sandpaper like scouring on your throat and tonsils, and a moderate nicotine rush.

You can take a handful of inhalations at a time, then you let it rest, and the paper somehow "recharges," than you can take another few puffs. It will last a day or more, so a pack can last a month. Or, in my case, a whole year, because I used a couple and decided I wanted to KEEP my throat lining, and quit trying them.

It really feels harsh, just awful. I'd advise you skip them.

I tryed them when I first started e-cigs, because I order them, then found e-cigs and they get here first. They give me a sore thoart just like the nictrol inhaler. The mentol are better than the regular.

TT, when they are fresh they may give up a lot of nicotine. they last a long time, even once they are cut. I am going to make a note in case of an emergency caused by our goverment.
