batteries, they are something different. Imagine a flattened straw, with a folded piece of papery material inside. The ends are sealed, so you have to cut them off with scissors, then you suck air
through it, and the air picks up nicotine off the paper. You feel a sandpaper like scouring on your
throat and tonsils, and a moderate nicotine rush.
You can take a handful of inhalations at a time, then you let it rest, and the paper somehow "recharges," than you can take another few puffs. It will last a day or more, so a pack can last a month. Or, in my case, a whole year, because I used a couple and decided I wanted to KEEP my throat lining, and quit trying them.
It really feels harsh, just awful. I'd advise you skip them.
