We are leaving for vacation in the morning, so it's laundry and final packing day.
I am so excited!!! It's only the 3rd vacation with just the four of us, and the first one by car.
Girls aren't too happy with me. We got a portable DVD player as a gift a while back (I think someone was trying to give me a parental hint). I informed the girls they were more than welcome to use it in the hotel; only electronics allowed in the car are iPods and Kindles.
They still have it better than I did. My last family car journey was in 1980, Washington to New York, in a '77 Dodge Aspen, 6 people and no AC.
In truly showing age, that was life before Walkmen......

Hmmm...ya won't come meet us for Bratfest, but you'll make the drive to see nude bike riders?
We now know where we rate on the C-Kool scale......
Trust me when I say....NOBODY wants to see this tired, flabby old bird ride a bicycle NUDE in public (private is an entirely DIFFERENT thing)
I thought I saw EW - naked as a J-Bird except for a Cape and some really nice Boots
