Somewhat experienced vaper, problems with Aspire Nautilus, HELP

I normally should be posting this in another forum but as a new member I have to post here 5 times first.

So I went from Protank 2's (a few of them, all with varying levels of working properly) and a 1300mah Winder style battery to the Aspire Nautilus and iTaste VV 3.0 battery. I was very excited and everything was great out of the box. I put about 3mL of Thug juice 20pg/80vg from MBV into the tank and the pre-installed 1.6 ohm atomizer was humming along nicely. About a day later I decided to change e liquids to another MBV flavor Black Rock with the same pg/vg stats. This caused some flooding and I was having problems getting a consistent vape so I decided to replace the atomizer with the 1.8 ohm from the packaging. This stopped the flooding but the flavor was inconsistent still so I cleaned the tank and borrowed about 2mL of Unicorn Blood 50pg/50vg (I believe) from FuZion Vapor and again couldn't get a strong flavor out of this juice that normally tastes amazing on other setups.

Extremely frustrated at this point I decided to go back to my Protank 2 for a few days while waiting on replacement 1.6 ohm atomizers because I had read on the forums that some of the pack-in atomizers were shoddy. I have tried two brand new 1.6 ohm atomizers today with another MBV 20pg/80vg e liquid and cannot get either to wick properly. I've tried primer puffing it like mad, I've tried different amounts of e liquid, I have tried even dripping a bit into the atomizer itself and all I am getting is burnt tasting dry hits. I SEE BUBBLES! Doesn't this mean that it is wicking at least somewhat?

This is baffling me. I hope someone can shed some light on this situation. Sorry for the wall of text but I wanted to cover all the bases.

Some tanks don't do well with 80%vg. My wife finds she likes tanks with 50/50 mix, as she prefers vg more. I however cant use much vg due to a intolerance to it. SO i normally have no more then 35%vg when I used tanks. Neither of us had wicking issues.

If you need to use higher vg try adding a drop or 2 of distilled water per tank to thin it out a bit. Also if your have the voltage cranked up turn it down, some flavors will be better at a voltage like 3.5 others 4.2 might taste better. Always start out lower in the voltage settings and then work your way up till it taste best.

I suggest rebuilding it yourself with cotton I did with mine and it works perfect. Rip trippers has a video on YouTube about how to rebuild it and it's a single coil. I rebuilt mine right away because I don't like silica so I didn't really try them with the regular setup.

bubbles are a sign that liquid is being replaced with air, a good sign as long as its not leaking. the coil heads for the BCC tanks are inconstant having used a number of different brands, i like the kanger single coils (protank I II mini EVOD) easy enough to take a part adjust the coils remove or replace the wicks snap it back together and throw it in the tank.. i make "adjustments" to all my brand new coil heads.
the design is nice and easy enough work with so i keep buying them.

Thanks, I will be able to try more 50/50 e liquid tomorrow when my shipment arrives, I hope that is all that I have to do. When it was working well I loved the Nautilus, and I really don't want to go to RBA's any time soon because I like the portability (drive and vape) that the tank based atomizers give.

Thanks for the advice, admittedly I went with this type of setup to avoid building coils and fussing with the nitty gritty aspects of RBAs. I might be able to find someone locally that is rebuilding the Nautilus coils and kick them some bucks plus my atomizers but I am not willing to do it myself at this point.
