I am a new member here as of just now and I wanted to sign in to say hello. I am looking forward to participating more on these forums. My first mod is a Just GG serial 1394 with my first tank being an RBA ithaka. However, I am currently running a dual 26ga coil on a RDA origen.
I started vaping in December after being on and off since 2008 with cigarettes. I used to kind of make fun of vaping, because I tried the made in china craps for a while and did not know what all the fuss was. I began lurking and reading these forums for a few days back in December before I opted to purchase a jGG and Ithaka. I am kind of an all in or not at all person. And have enjoyed the thorough research I've done.
Currently not running with an ohm meter, just building coils with math and science and loving it. All three of my 18650's are coated with fingernail polish right now due to shorts with a protank 3 I was experiencing often. I went through so many of their premade coils while awaiting the arrival of the Ithaka.
After trying my friend's dripper out (an Omega) I went after acquiring a dripper to which I purchased not one, but two Origens. I am putting together an anniversary present (vape) for my significant other. Decided to add some color tonight and she opted for her origen to be darker while I opted for a lighter tone. Here's a photo of the Origens. I have not decided which mods to acquire to put the origens on for us, but hopefully something amazing will catch my eyes. Building a vape kit for our anniversary gift is awesome and I love the way I can customize everything!!!
Anyway, I am definitely into the hobbyist aspect, and have kicked the smoking habit replacing it with vaping. Only vape on 5 or 10mg juices right now. I tried starting at 20, but that was way- too high. And after using the dripper, I am happy with 5-10mg juice.
Don't know what else to add other than I am really enjoying this and looking forward to more. Hope you enjoy the photo of the heat treated origens. She gets the dark one on the left, I get the one on the right (Which one would YOU prefer?). I love the added colors and hope you do, too!
