Hello everyone. This is my first actual post. I've been lurking for a while, and eventually signed up with an account.

I started vaping a few months ago on eGo-style batteries and CE4's, then Vivi Nova's, then a few others. I now have a full-size black ProVari with 18650 extension cap and mostly use ProTank-II's. I recently got an iTaste 134 - mostly for the novelty, but also to see what VW is all about.

In testing my eGo-style batteries, I found that most of them are not regulated (4.2v on a full charge, down from there). They're not JoyeTech branded, so maybe those are regulated at 3.7v. My twist-knockoff is fairly accurate up to about 4.3v, where it outputs higher and higher voltage than indicated. You do get what you pay for after all!

I'm starting to learn about advantages and disadvantages of all the mechanical mods, and RBA's/RDA's. I know I'll end up getting a couple of those someday.

I'm an "inhale-to-the-lungs" vaper, and have found myself exhaling through my nose almost all the time now, as the "flavor" is so much better that way. Makes sense - can't taste anything when you have a cold and you're congested.

That's about it I suppose. 1 down, 4 to go...

I enjoy my Zmax but have been told that Provari is the way to go.

Well, it's popular and highly regarded. I did a lot of online research before narrowing my choices down to 3, then went to my local vape shops to see them in person. I like big, solid, and heavy (another reason for the 134). The ProVari just felt right. Not being a compulsive shopper, I left and came back the next day - just to be sure. They only had that one in stock, and regardless of which color LED's it had, I was going to get it (all LED colors go well with black). Turned out to be green, which added $15 to the price.

Zmax was a good choice. It's all personal preference really. The only real differences are between eGo's, VV/VW mods, and mechanicals. I believe the Zmax can output 4A, while the ProVari v2/2.5 is limited to 3.5A
