What batteries do you guys suggest running on dna 30 style mods like the ZNA, Hana, eVic, Vaporshark, etc I have heard some conflicting reports on wether or not to use the VCT4 or if the VCT5 is a better option. I am currently using a Sony VCT4 in my authentic Hana V3 just wondering if there is a better option out there however I have no complaints with my current Sony VCT4 setup. Thanks

Evolve, the manufacturer of the DNA30 chip, states that it requires a high-drain battery with at least 12 amps continuous discharge rate. So, any IMR/hybrid battery with at least 12 amps continuous will fullfill that requirement. After fullfilling the amp requirement as first priority, choose one of the batteries with the highest mAh rating.

"A single cell rechargeable lithium chemistry battery is recommended. Either a lithium ion or a
lithium polymer type can be used. Any battery used should be rated for a MINIMUM of 12 amps
continuous discharge
current. High C rated lithium polymer or IMR cylindrical cells are strongly
preferred. Make sure that all contacts and connections are capable of handling at least 12 amps." http://evolvapor.com/datasheet/dna30.pdf

VTC4 2100 mAh vs VTC5 2600 mAh
The 2600 mAh will give you a longer time with the additional 500 mAh before you need to recharge.
Thank you this is what I needed to know!

I stuck with the VTC4 in my VS rDNA (supplied) because I am too lazy to swap batteries and the VTC4 charges a little bit faster. The remote charge pad makes it very convenient to the point where the distinction between the two batteries is moot for me. I vape between 10W and 17W so the extra ompf is negligible.
