Soon to be a new Apex Alpha Ultra with RES user

Well, can't help it. Based on what I've read and seen on pics, gotta have this awesome device.

Besides the looks, the RES is what pretty much nailed my decision. I'm primarily an Ego-T tank user. Others hate it but I love it for convenience. It has not failed me yet though I must admit, the flavor kinda suffers a little but with the LR Ego-T, that was not a problem.

When at home, I do prefer the drip method if I'm not too lazy and I do believe that the RES is as close as it gets to dripping. I chose the smaller Ultra (1ml) due to the fact that I normally don't stick to 1 flavor per day. At the minimum, I have 2 flavors but sometimes load up 4 Ego-T tanks with different flavors. I'm a 2-3ml/day vaper, where most of it is consumed at home.

If the RES works for me as I expected, I would need to get another RES module for my other flavor then I'll be all set.

I'm so glad I stumbled into the product. My pm's with Tony helped me decide as well and Mark assisted me with my preferred payment method, by visa gift card.

Can't wait.

P.S. Oh yeah, I was sold on the dimensions right off the bat. It measures really close to an Ego battery so very easy and comfy to carry around all day. Other than having the sexy looks of course

Welcome to the family. You will be real happy with the Ultra. Also good to hear that you got the visa gift card to go through, I wasnt sure how that was going to turn out. Be sure to keep us posted on your thoughts, opinions, suggestions, etc as time goes on.

You will be happy. I have had mine for a couple weeks now and It performs very well.Instead if having to drip every couple of pulls,just fill the RES and get the same vapor, flavor and throat hit as dripping. I get about an hour of vaping before having to refill. YMMV.

Not to mention it looks really good!!

Absolutely. The warranty and customer service are always available to you whether you were the original purchaser or not. We have the dates etched into the inside of the main body for reference. Therefore we do not need an original order number to honor the warranty. Besides, who is going to have their original invoice 8 years from now anyway? And customer service, that is always available to anybody who needs it, alpha owner or not.

When you say "dates" you men year? In my main body there is only 2011 etched (www address, PAT and the rest of course.)

Haha I hear you on that. I haven't smoked a cig for almost two years and it still feels like I quit yesterday. I recently started doing a workout program called the "insanity workout" and it makes me hate myself for ever smoking after I cant catch my breathe for an hour after I finish each day.

I bought insanity and did it for two weeks before I gave up, that is a tough program. I do have an excuse though because I have osteonecrosis of the hip.

Yeah they definitely named it right. I'm through my second week and its not getting any easier. I also do another workout program that I made up later in the day so I'm really doing two workouts everyday. The insanity for cardio, and the other for strength. All together it makes for a pretty exhausting day. Makes me really really happy that I dont smoke anymore though.

I find that with my ultramax running at 3.7V and a 512 atty I have to add after about an hour. Is this normal? Also are you dripping in the atty or painting it on the ceramic like N8T's video on utube shows. Also, Any leaks?

For the initial fill I paint and after that I drip ten drops at a time into the atty. In response to the time before refill, that is a really hard question becasue everyone vapes differently, I dont have the max but I have the ultra and I get almost an hour before refill, I do need to break every now and again to let the liquid come down a bit but it totally beats dripping every three hits

What about strong, robust, cigar or tobacco flavors. These trend to linger in the atties.

Any flavor will rinse from the RES, you could boil the RES if you were so inclined, but a long rinse with warm water will completely clean the RES. However, as you noted, these flavors will stick in atomizers.

The ceramic of the RES will come completely clean, time after time, forever. It will not wear out.

If you are getting liquid in your mouth try blowing gently through your atomizer. This will push the excess liquid from the atomizer back into the RES. Dont blow too hard though or liquid will come out of the air holes on the RES. After a little practice you will get it down. Try that and see if that helps.
