Well you can always sell your blood or "juice", but I feel ya. I was really hesitant when buying my first reo, since all I used up until then were clones. I was used to paying at most $30 for a mod so it was a bit of a step for me, but now I have 3 grands and four rm2's in about a month and a half. I'm a big function over form kinda guy, and I only use things that "work" and are of good quality, with the Reo I got the best of both, so the price is easily justified for me. I hope you can join us soon.
the only clone i have is a nimbus clone rba ... and after using it a few times is what got me looking at the Reo .. i like the flavor of a dripper but didn't like the hassle of it ...
i am almost for sure i will be ordering a reo ... right now debating on going ahead and picking up some batteries and a charger and such and just setting me up one that works similiar so i can make for sure that i like the setup before investing that amount of money ...
or maybe i can luck up on the classifieds once i have access to them and find one there.

I was hesitant, at first, to put out that kind of money on an "unknown". But I read and read and read, at looked at the classifieds. What I finally decided was, if I didn't like it, I really *could* get back almost the entire cost, and quickly. That was a few years back (see my signature below), but I took the plunge and never looked back. I'm on my sixth REO (still have the first 5) and loving them even more with the RM2.
I had used attys before on "drippers", so that's what I used on the REO, but even so, there wasn't even a comparison to what I'd been using. I guess what I'm saying is, you can be conservative and try a bottom feeder "style" first, but you won't know what the REO experience is, until you vape one. After that, you'll wish you had just gone ahead and gotten the REO to begin with.
The key is you can find post after post in this forum of people who were hesitant on ordering and then quickly ordered more of them after they got the first one.
So if you need to wait to save some more coin for the purchase then do so! If you can afford it but just have sticker shock, just order it, in three years I've wasted enough money to buy 4 Reos, but instead I was buying other mods that never truly lived up to the promise. So stop wasting money chasing a perfect vape, you've found it.

yeah, well i broke down ... i have sent em an email about a possible blemished model ... will see what turns up ...
still planning on trying to build my own as well (i just like fiddling with things) ...

Personally, I would make do with the atties you already ordered until the piggy bank was full enough for the RM2- it is definitely worth saving the extra twenty bucks for.
By the way, I have a few 1.7 ohm super shorty cartos left over from my pre-RM2 days. If you would like them, just pm me your addy.
