Hi guys. I pulled the trigger on a mini 2.1 yesterday, based on the rave reviews on this forum and youtube. I have a few questions for those in the know:

1: what is the turn around on shipping out an order after it's been put in? (paid for, item in stock)(and I realize there are always variables)

2: A couple of the video reviews mention the battery/juice "door" can be a bit easy to come loose if slid downward (a magnet thing?). Is this an annoying and frequent issue?

3: I ordered a few different types of atomizers and tips, a rebuild kit, spare 3 ml bottle-all from the ReoMods site, a couple of the recommended batteries and a charger... is there anything esle i need?

4: What the hell is a squonk?

i realize that most of these answers are here somewhere, and I am using the search button, but I figured this would be a way to say hi to this sub-forum as well...

Thank ya'll in advance!
Heath

Normally very fast (3/4 days)

2: A couple of the video reviews mention the battery/juice "door" can be a bit easy to come loose if slid downward (a magnet thing?). Is this an annoying and frequent issue?
you can just add a little tape on the battery to make it tighter.
3: I ordered a few different types of atomizers and tips, a rebuild kit, spare 3 ml bottle-all from the reomods site, a couple of the recommended batteries and a charger... Is there anything esle i need?
some juice to vape!:) i would buy a rba... But will be your next step!
4: What the hell is a squonk?
trough the little window on the side of the reo you can feed your atty when needed.. Squeeze or, in reo world..squonk!

Usually it will ship quick, in a day or two. You will get an email from PayPal with tracking. Don't see it by tomorrow check your spam folder! It will need a signature for delivery.

2: A couple of the video reviews mention the battery/juice "door" can be a bit easy to come loose if slid downward (a magnet thing?). Is this an annoying and frequent issue?
If you notice the door slides a little to easy you can put a rubber band around your battery to hold it a little. Here are some more suggestions: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/285947-loose-door-new-mini.html

3: I ordered a few different types of atomizers and tips, a rebuild kit, spare 3 ml bottle-all from the ReoMods site, a couple of the recommended batteries and a charger... is there anything esle i need?
Nothing else that I see. You might want to pick up a spare spring sometime. Just in case there is a short and it collapses. You can easily replace it yourself.

4: What the hell is a squonk?

Squonk is what we call pressing the bottle to get juice to move up to the atty! Squonking is fun, and very simple!

Thanks for the replies and info! I will look into the rubberband or tape fix, if the issue is there. I already have juice, so hopefully it will work ok with the mini. I got the black wrinkle/metallic red color scheme, which i believe is black with the red door. Atlanta Falcons fan here, so i was happy to see that model was available.

Heath, I'm checkin in from Canton GA. Good to have ya almost aboard. I see that others have answered your questions, so i wont replicate, but I will add that you are making the right choice, especialy suited to the outdoor lifestyle that us Georgians enjoy.

A REO is a bullet proof solution to the problem of a hassle free vape. Not only do they provide all day action with possibly only a battery change and adding a little more juice to the bottle but they are a hell of a lot more manly that a big old tube.

No way I would roll around these parts (or anywhere else for that matter) hittin off a tube.

i have been around a while. Started with your typical mall vendor ripoff vape... I've used Totally Wicked (can't remember model#s), Joyetech eGo (loved them, except for those leaking tanks), and had been using the truck driver specials from Pilot before I sprung for the eRoll a couple of months back. Hopefully this will be the "go to" vaporizer that will stick. I am in Newnan. Good to see some other Georgians around!

Just look how right at home and bad ... a REO looks sitting on top of a toolbox next to a dirt bike.

So you stuck with vaping for like 4 years? Damn that's awesome, especially considering the equipment that was available initially? That REO is going to knock your socks off boss.

nah, just a smart fortwo. 3 cylinders and 71 raging horses under that hood... in the back... My f-250 diesel was killing me on my 90 mile roundtrip everyday. I'm secure in my manhood (and also enough of a cheapskate) to not have a problem driving it. It's averaging over 40 mpg and being in it feels like playing real life Mario Kart, especially on the interstate.

If the door is a bit loose, or even if it's not, I would suggest putting a strip of ribbon behind it. Tightens up the fit and makes the battery much easier to pop out.

Like so:

Oh if you haven't already, be sure to get some of the AW IMR batteries that Rob recommends. They really DO make a significant difference.

Welcome to the REO family! :)

The service from Robert is excellent, I ordered 2- 2.1mini's yesterday and have my shipping notice this morning. Received a Reo Grand late last month and believe I had it at the door 4 days after the order was placed.
The doors on my original mini's firm up nicely when I use a label maker and date the 14500 batteries with a wrap.
Your going to enjoy the convenience and reliability of the Reo
