Congratulations and welcome to Reoville. I'm all about flavor and actually prefer no cloud at all. The smaller the chamber the more flavor I get. I like the RM2 and the ERA. I've been using the ERA more than the RM2. The flavor is similar, but I can shove more wick in it and get more miles to the squonk.

Hola. Just poppin in real quick to say hi. I was peer pressured by the fine folks in the nicoticket sub forum to get a reo. So here I am, expected delivery is Wednesday. Can't wait. I'll post pics when it comes in.

Peer pressure is such a dirty word Rmac!

We prefer enabling! It kind of hides the pushing and nagging. [emoji23]

Congratulations are if course in order!!

Good news...I was able to pick my reo up at the post office. Possibly bad news...should I have got the low pro rm2 instead of this one? Hopefully the difference is only aesthetic (sits flush), and this one won't leak. I wanna get this thing going and bring in the new year with my new reo and some good beer.

Excellent color choices, and wise vaping move altogether. Yes, re: the RM2, the difference is purely aesthetic, it'll vape just fine. Of course, it will drive you nuts eventually, so you'll have to order a non-LP grand to go under that atty, and an LP RM2 to fit on the current grand.

If anyone asks, it's "backup" :)

Welcome to REOville :vapor:

So, does the reo prefer button or flat top batteries? Or are either usable with the low profile reo grand? I'm going to go pick my reo up from the post office in a couple hours. Please tell me it doesn't only take button tops.

I say this with the utmost respect for your new Reo Rmac (and thanks for the pics!). Although there is an AW recommended battery for the reo, you can use what you like. This link ( IMR 18650 Battery 30A Orbtronic SX30 Ultra High Drain Hybrid rechargeable Li-ion | Li-Mn will take you to a VTC4 button top rewrap, they are extremely high quality from a reputable company. They come in a flat top as well if that's your thing... I use both the recommended battery and others as I have many different devices...These rewraps have a higher continuous discharge rating so you can build a bit lower than the AW's. They are 2100 mah.

Flat tops have certain arcing issues that occur and for that reason I tend to stay with the button tops unless I'm in a pinch, but I have never had a pitting or scaring issue on any of my flat tops...

Thanks Soignee. In 18650 size I've got the vtc4, the Samsung and lg imr batteries. They've worked just fine for me for the last 6 months, so I'm sure they'll work out with the reo. I'm not particularly looking to go low. I like to stay around 1.2 ohms. Someday I'll get an aw battery, but as of right now they don't sell them at my preferred battery spot. I think it's because of all the counterfeit problems.

It does prefer button tops, but either will work. There is a notch cut for the button so if you use flat tops, you'll have a longer throw. I use button tops in my Mini, but flat tops in my Grand because I had recently bought Samsung 25R flat tops. They are good batteries and I didn't want to just get rid of them.

Congrats and welcome! Nice REO :) Your batteries should be fine. I use the Sony VTC4s in my Grands and the AW IMRs in my Woodvils. Just keep the contacts clean and a little dab of Nalox or deoxit on occasionally and things should run smoothly for you.
