Sore throat from too much vaping?

I really enjoy vaping and I vape a lot. Its crazy how I only vape 3-5 ml a day because it seems like a lot more. I just got over being sick a couple weeks ago so maybe I can attribute my sore throat to my post sickness, however its still hurts. Has anybody gotten a persistant sore throat from excessive vaping or am I just worried because its probably due to just getting over a cold? I've been drinking plenty of water, and hot tea but it still hurts when I swallow.

It is possible you have an allergy to one of the ingredients in your ejuice, or perhaps the nic level is too high. My throat can also get irritated and I will drop my nic, or even move to a tank with less vapor for a day and all seems to clear up.

I am currently feeling the same way. it started about 2 months ago, then went away and has recently come back. I believe it may be the nicotine level being too high, seeing that I've been dripping 18-24mg in my Atlantis and Omega RDA

Yeah 18-24 in a fog machine will hurt... I was dying vaping 24mg from a subtank.

If your nic seems reasonable some people reported better results with higher VG mixes... Are you drinking enough water?

I don't know what kind of setup you're using but I'll second what Vatigu said - from the vapers I talk to who try to make clouds - 24 is really high. I've had my through irritated before and found that, while not allergic to it, I seem to "dry out" faster with PG. I just recently invested in an Orchid v4 and I've been both making my own/buying straight VG juices and adding VG to some of the juices I've bought. Cutting back on the PG has really seemed to help quite a bit.
