It makes me more ANGRY than sad. Deep down I have a horrible FEAR that the government is going to come down so hard on e cigarettes that they WANT to drive people back to smoking. It sickens me. It is NOT that they care for us, that's obvious , it's ALL about the MONEY. And if they can't get a piece of the pie by taxing us to death then they will ban them. That's my fear. It makes me ANGRY that e cigarettes are not encouraged. Instead they would rather us die of smoking to make more money. Sorry for the rant but that's how I feel deep down inside. You would think logically we're would be encouraged to quit smoking and because vaping allows us to easily quit it would be celebrated. But instead they fight us. It does make me sad. And angry too.

I started smoking some 30 years ago, even then, when it was totally acceptable and even socially trendy, I knew it was bad for my health, I cant blame anyone else for my personal choices and don't want the government to become my daddy.
I don't think its strictly about money for the government, if it was that simple, tobacco would've been banned years ago everywhere, but governments do know that the prohibition back in the 20's and early 30's resulted in an epic failure as it is the war on drugs. So they rather exercise some control over the tobacco industry rather than no control at all, however I also believe that total prohibition is coming anyways in the not so distant future.

I feel sorry for them but it is their own personal choice to choose to smoke. I went and saw my ex husband today because I had left some stuff there when I moved out and the PV I had bought for him off of eBay lay on the floor with a bottle of vodka..which is what ended our marriage and not over cleaning our devices lol because of his drinking..and he is back to smoking two packs a day! He lit a cigarette while I was there and I about puked, I asked him if he could wait a few minutes to smoke until I left with my Provari in hand, and the items I had left behind. I feel bad that he is slowly killing himself by smoking two packs a day to where when I was still with him and we were vaping, and our cat Charlie was vaping with us (that's just a joke he just liked liking the drip tips) he was down to maybe 4-7 cigarettes a day. So that makes me sad that he is slowly killing himself because I still love him, I just couldn't handle how he treated me when he would drink. BUT THAT'S ANOTHER FORUM COMPLETELY! LOL

I am glad that I had the right to choose smoking..........I just wish I had had the smarts to start vaping sooner. Oh well, better late than never. I now am proud to start vaping and strike up a conversation with anyone who wants to know more about it. Vaping still amazes me everyday thank goodness. Happy vaping to you. :)

We live in a world where too many people think the answer for people's stupidity is to sue whoever supplied them with the opportunity to prove themselves idiots, and too few who take responsibility for their own choices and actions. Choosing to think for someone else, is worse, imho, than refusing to think for yourself.
