Sour Cherry assistance...

Seems like I posted this where it ought not have gone... so let's try here...

This was one of my 1st vapes and I can't seem to find any type of cherry flavor that comes close. It was from DFW Vapor... I don't do it stand alone, but mix it in a tank with strawberries and cream or watermelon or honeysuckle and it's amazing... can anyone help me create a sour cherry flavor recipe?

the liquid from DFW Vapor has a clearish color with a yellow hue... maybe there are some cherry flavorings from somewhere that are this color???

If you are looking for a sour taste all you need to do is go to hobby lobby and buy some lorains tart flavoring. It is nothing more than malic acid with a few more ingredients.

i already have tart and sour, LJ, malic acid, citric acid... i guess i'm more looking for a certain kind of cherry than anything... and i already know "cherry is the hardest blah blah blah...", but this stuff is good man... lol... so there has to be a cherry flavor that is acceptable... or a combo of something to make it like this... maybe it's not just straight sour and cherry... u kno?

Calm down, I was just helping you out based on your post. I have found TPA Black Cherry to be the best cherry. The maraschino tastes like cough syrup, all of the do. I would assume that if you are looking for that maraschino taste without the cough syrup taste. I believe you will need to add some strawberry to the TPA black cherry and sweetner, then add the malic acid to your liking.

I have just straight Black Cherry and it is fine. I guess I will spend a couple of days playing around with some small samples to get a great cherry for everyone. I don't mind.

BasilRay of youtube fame published a recipe for his "Popped Cherry":

15% Flavor West Ecto Cooler
1drop/ml Watkins Immitation CHerry
1drop/2ml LorAnn's Tart and Sour
1drop/5ml Stevia Extract
It's worth a try.. I would trust him that it tastes pretty good, although it might not be what you are seeking..
