There are a few suppliers that pop up on the Suppliers Board that I simply can't pass up. Eekaa Chu was one of them. I knew Eekaa long before she became a supplier, so I couldn't resist placing a yummy order. And yummy it was.
Here is what I ordered:
24mg, 80PG, 20VG
- Sticky Fingers
- Eternal Holiday
- Country Fair Crumble
- Nanner Puddin'
- Voodoo Lady
Like any well-trained juice connoisseur, the first thing I did was give each one a sniff.
The Smell Test
Sticky Fingers - The description leaves nothing to the imagination. The flavor is obviously Cake Batter. I'd never really tried a cake batter flavor before, so I picked it up. The smell of it is absolutely amazing. It was like I stuck my face in a bowl of yellow cake batter and took a big wiff. Exactly that, nothing more or less, and absolutely mouth watering. There have been very few moments in my vaping life, where I got a real, honest-to-goodness urge to lick the top of a juice bottle. But this was one of those times.
Eternal Holiday - One of Eekaa's most infamous flavors. I picked it up simply because of its infamy. The description tells you that it brings you back to fond childhood memories of Christmas. The smells reminds me of being curled up on my granny's floor while she baked Christmas goodies, the aroma of which filled the house. It's a very delicate, caramel type scent.
Country Fair Crumble - I got this one because I simply love apple vapes, especially if they are combined with cinnamon.. add sugar and bakeries into that mix, and you've sold me. The smell isn't far off from the promise of the description. I don't know where country fair comes into play, but I pick up a very sweet apple scent that mingles with the "crumble" aspect of cinnamon and sugar.
Nanner Puddin' - I've been pretty obsessed with Banana vapes lately so I decided to give this one a shot. I'm interested to see how the pudding represents itself, I'm not usually big on anything that is supposed to taste "creamy" so, she's got a lot to live up to. The smell of this is very non-foretelling of the flavor, at least I hope so. All I really pick up is a sweet and light banana scent, but honestly the banana part might just be my brain. It's a very, very light smell.
Voodoo Lady - As many people have said before - This smells familiar. For some reason the first thing that pops in my head when I sniff this, is Top Vapor's "Grandpa's Mix". Which is also entirely indescribable. So, I guess we'll have to wait for the taste test to figure this one out.
The Taste Test
Sticky Fingers - One of those juices that tastes just like it smells. It's absolutely divine - An instant favorite. Great TH, a surplus of vapor and truly amazing taste. I have to say that the inhale of this flavor leaves a bit to be desired, it almost taste a little perfume-y, but that is something I am more than happy to deal with for the taste upon exhale. This juice is the real deal, and the after taste is the most realistic feeling I've had with vaping yet. It literally tastes like I just licked a spatula clean. I am very impressed. I WILL be ordering this again. It is the only vape that actually satisfies a sweet craving. Holy crow.. Holy grail.
Eternal Holiday - WOW. I've heard good and bad, and I'm glad I decided to pick it up anyway. This is a complex flavor but I'll do my best to describe it. I taste apples, cinnamon.. and something sweet that I can't place my finger on, it all blends together with another something I can't place my finger on. If you've ever had Fried Apple from Madvapes or Cinnamon Apple from DIYFS - It is reminiscent of those, but better. Without the "Cheap" taste. It really reminds me of RippleInStillWater's Apple Cinnamon Pancake. It definitely has some sort of warm gooey flavor to it. It's another keeper, for sure. And has -amazing- TH!
Country Fair Crumble - Quite superb. It's actually a little similar to Eternal Holiday, but not quite. This reinforces my suspicions that there is some apple in Eternal Holiday, because she says there's apple in this one. This is a much less mysterious flavor, it's pretty straight forward. It could easily become my favorite due to the simplicity in taste and deliciousness all at the same time. It's a mellow, low key kind of vape, not to say that it lacks flavor at all. But it's the kind of flavor you can vape all day and not get tired of, not get overloaded by. When I vape it, I think "Apple Cobbler". Which I think was her aim - So good job, Eekaa!!
Nanner Puddin - This one is real different. The banana flavor is very very similar to say, a banana lollipop. The puddin' flavor comes through in the exhale, but it's not that sickening 'cream' flavor that I've come to hate. It's more of a gentle, sweet vanilla. The one thing I notice first about this flavor is that it doesn't seem to have the same POW as the other flavors, both in taste and moreso in Throat Hit. Not so say that it doesn't have those qualities, they are just much more mild. It's sweet and delicious, and very gentle. I would qualify this as my new "After a relaxing hot shower" vape, right before I brush my teethe and tuck in.
Voodoo Lady - Well isn't this different. It's truly like nothing I've ever vaped before.. But not in a bad way. I wouldn't classify it as Tobacco.. or Sweet.. or Sour.. But maybe Spicy. It's got the most complex blend of mystery I think I've ever tasted. It reminds me of my early summer vacations in Long Island, sitting on the beach late at night. I can't wait to vape it this summer in that exact scenario. It's mellow, mild, yet spicy. With a crazy amount of undertones. It doesn't blow me away, it doesn't leave me feeling sick. It just.. is. Great TH, great vapor.. excellent flavor. I wish I could tell you exactly what it tasted like.. You'll just have to try it yourself..
Eekaa doesn't have a website up, but you can view her flavors, prices and customization options, as well as place orders here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rand-opening-order-thread-come-sit-spell.html
