Woot!!!! Purple tip, Teal Tip and another amber tip!!!! And a couple of tubes too!!!

BTW: Love the little artistic caricature - :p

Nice! Was going for a jack-o-lantern effect...Pretty much nailed it! :D

Yeah I need to get off my .... and order a smoke tube for my RH rings :)

Welcome back Uno! Can't wait to see the customized rings! Please don't place an order for the RH version yet. Chances are you're going to run into some issues when fitting the TC tanks. Yeah....It's been a PITA. Sad to say but I'm actually considering making tanks for a clone  We'll see.

Have a orange sample here...Will post a pic soon :)

So what's the estimated wait on tubes for the RH rings? Though it was more a length issue or is there a diameter issue as well? I should have tried assembling the tube I have with my new RH rings to see how they fit before taking them to work. I planed on polishing the RH set to match my polished Russian...

I'm go in' to try and stop by my old shop tomorrow to get the 1st set bead blasted :)

I know it's a gamble but your best option for consistency would be to sell the tube and rings as a set, I could ask what my old shop would charge to manufacture the rings as a rough guide...

Just the length...The TC tanks slide on nicely with #014 o-rings but to optimize fitment for the clone they need to be a touch shorter. Basically the same tank with 1.5-2 mm shaved off. The chimney seals fine on some clone kits but doesn't with others. It brings the tolerance of the chimney into question because I know the tanks are consistent. Wet sanding one end of the tank down would be an option for now if needed. Carrying the kits would make sense. I've had quite a few people ask if we sold them or where they could buy. If we ever decided to carry hardware it would have to be made in the USA. I'm leaning toward making some tanks for the RH kits though. It would certainly clear things up!

As promised...

The texture of the rings are off a little, really needed to be finer media but as a favor/freebie I wasn't going to ask them to change it out. Still looks purdy decent though :)

Havin' a couple issues of my own to work through with this set-up...

That looks good in the pic Uno, but I know what you mean about the different textures...it's kinda like the difference between the R91 matte and the ProVari Satin - in pics it looks pretty good but to us, up front and personal, we can see the differences more clearly!

I guess that is why I am such a fan of the machine finish...if they don't match exactly - I can always use a scotchbrite pad and make them identical. Here's a pic I posted elsewhere of my two Kayfun clones, with the Rainbow Heaven Quartz kits, and of course the gorgeous tubes/tips made by our most honored host here:

There was a member in the Provarinati thread that purchased a tube from ebay thinking it was the whole kit with the rings, but it was just one of Spectrum's tubes...the item was labeled clearly that it was just the glass, but the member didn't read it that way...so I took this pic and explained to him that he still needed the kit (rings) in order to use the tube.

Bottom feeding this thing has turned into a serious test of patience, gave up the last 2 times and top filled, seems the gap between the chimney tube and the inside step of the ring is so small that my needle tip will not fit far enough in to keep the juice from blowing back out the fill hole :glare: Not sure if you have experienced this issue or figured out a solution...

Yes, I have experienced that problem also, but I just used a smaller needle tip...(I have numerous different sizes so if one doesn't work, I just get another :))

My next question......

What sizes will you be offering the Orange in?????? and tips too?????

That's two questions

Not sure yet...Gonna wait for another run of tips so the orange combo is in place. Will probably do 4 or 5 sizes for starters.

I think the whole set-up looks fantastic Uno! Especially the rings and tank :D Blasted is much better than stock IMO. That pic is gonna look great in the gallery!

Thank you very much Elantis! :) eBay folks aren't very well informed....That and they just buy without bothering to read the description lol. Had a few expecting the kit to be included and a few others expecting a threaded tank. Put that to bed in neon red :D

Sorry....Guess I didn't answer your question. Sometimes I flake out like that :?:
I'd say Kraken, Steam Turbine, Pure, and both versions of Quartz Kits....Possibly Z-atty?

I really like your pic as well Elantis. Mine!! What's that in the background?

Thanks for the info - :) , it's the background on my computer screen. Like I said it was a quick pic with my P&S camera so I could explain to the other member what he bought and what he needed to buy - unfortunately Kidney Puncher is now OOS of all of their quartz kits.

Hopefully they get some more in stock soon. I have two more Kayfun clones on the way and only one more quartz kit :(
