Spheroid V2 wicking issues

So I got this rba after weeks of stalking their site and decided to go ahead and get some Aunt Lydia's #10 bamboo wick and some 32 Kanthal.

After several tries I just cant seem to make it work, I figured that the bamboo is so thin and light that it does not come in contact with the filling material inside ( when you screw the top cap back on it just "sinks" ) , I dont get a burned taste, I just get this wierd " no taste " from my boba's bounty , best way I can describe this issue is like vaping a liquid with like 2% flavoring , its barely there.

then I figured to get the strongest silica I can get and make a double lasso type wick , so then when you screw the cap back on the wick rises along the inner walls of the "tank" and contact the filling material.

This method should work correct ? because I'm this close to trashing this RBA
just need some confirmation or advice from shperoid users

I have not used bamboo wick, but I have a GUS Aiolos with 32 awg kanthal and silica wick doubled over and I cut it leaving four ends of the wick.. with Boba's since it is so thick you do not want to much Poly-fill or it will not wick... the thicker the juice, less fill material.
