Spinning, Vaping, and Phlegm...oh my...

About a month ago, I discovered ECF. That week, I spent about a dozen hours loading up on information, deliberating between myriad e-cig brands, and imagining life as a non-smoker.
I got my eGo-T 10 days ago and have since smoked 5 cigarettes (while locked out of the house...eGo-T at home). My room no longer smells (actually, with my sense of smell returning, I could actually smell the lingering smoke scent in my sheets and clothes), I no longer smell, and I'm delighted. I've had some symptoms (either from vaping or quitting smoking) but none too discouraging: dry lips/mouth, few canker sores, few pimples, and a feeling of being lost/dazed/confused/muddled. Today, however, I was in spin class and it was the first time I was doing anything strenuous since vaping and although I could breathe easier (like I had airways I'd been previously unaware of), all of a sudden, I felt super nauseous and I had to run to the restroom to vomit clumps of mucus (sorry for the grossness). WTF?! This has never happened before, even in super strenuous spinning classes. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

If you are using medium or high nicotine in 100% PG it can be irritating because nicotine is a skin irritant and PG vapor lets through the most flavor, most Th and the most irritation of nicotine. Using even 20-30% VG juices can help that alot if you think your lungs are actually irritated. In cartomizers I only use 20%. (I can feel the drag degrade with 30%)

But if you were throwing up mucus that sounds more like you might have a sinus infection or irritation and your sinuses dumped loose mucus down your throat when you got hot and breathing hard from exercising? If you think that is what happened, and you are inhaling or exhaling vapor through your nose to get the flavor in the aroma, try do that less often and well as using juices with some VG in them.

If you are using extreme levels of nicotine over 24mg, consider a hotter ecig to get hit and cut your nicotine?

Spin classes can be super intense. Make sure you eat something before you go and drink a lot of water. I was told if it's super intense it's more anerobic than aerobic and your burning carbs instead of fat and that makes you feel sick. I don't know if that's true or not. I have definitely gotten dizzy but never felt sick but I have heard other people say that they have. I would eat a protein bar and drink plenty of water. Maybe take it a little easier at first. Definitely put an ice pack on your .... tonight, you're going to need it.
