Here is a copy of a post I made on the Progressive Libertarianism facebook page. They will probably be a receptive ally.
I would like to know if there is anything I might be stretching too much or need to edit out. I am planning on using this to post to every organization that might be an ally or enemy, send to my congresswoman or any other opportunity that might pop up.
After 42 years of struggling with quitting cigarettes I don't want this miracle taken away from me.
"E-cigarettes have helped me quit smoking after 42 years. I haven't felt this good, been this healthy, been this energetic, been able to breathe this well in those 42 years.
It is estimated that at least 50% of the people who seriously try e-cigarettes are able to quit smoking. It is also estimated by Doctors who have studied this that e-cigs are 1/100th as dangerous as real cigarettes. (That is Doctors who have studied this who were not funded by tobacco or pharmacy money).
The good ole FDA is scheduled to stick their nose in the issue in April. They seem to be taking a quit or die policy. If they decide to ban e-cigarettes they will be effectively killing millions of would be ex-smokers.
If you would like to see real people talking about the positive effect e-cigarettes have had on real people please visit any e-cig message board.
This one decision by the FDA could kill more Americans than have died in every war ever fought by this nation.
Please help us."
