Yeah, it _used_ to be next month. Until congress in their infinite wisdom decided to further screw things up back in 2006. Messes with my head every spring too.
Ah actually the time isn't changing "back". We've been on normal standard time all winter. Now we are going into screwy DST. It will go "back to normal" in November. You're right though, things would be much simpler to just remain on standard time rather than this spring forward business. I'm just salty though cause it makes my job harder, dealing with all these times.
Thanks for the reminder. I am looking forward to spring too. It is supposed to be 80 degrees here tomorrow! It sucks to lose an hour of sleep though. I am off to bed! Goodnight all!
Looks like Canada has followed suit with you Yanks in changing over early. But at least my damn dogs don't know and let me sleep till a decent hour before howling for food this morning.

here in the states some of use DST as a reminder to swap the batteries out in the smokies. i just assumed it was internationally known.

I originally came from Long Island where Spring didn't start till damn near May. It would be 70 degrees in NYC and that damn seabreeze would kick in and drop us back to the 50's in early spring.I AM JEALOUS!!!
