A quick question guys...
I am picking up the recommended Taifun GS II from FT. I only have a limited amount of funds left so I am trying to decide between the KS, a Rose V2-S or Aqua 2 as my other tank. I already have (2) Rose V2 and just love them, a Silverplay which seems similar to the Aqua 2 orchid type build and nothing like the KS RTA at all.

Too many choices, any opinions on the KS vs the Rose V2-S or Aqua 2?
Does the KS fit on a Sigelei Mini 30W, KBox or IPV2s nicely?

Much Thanks!
:toast:

The Aqua v2 is an awesome atty, my favorite I think. I don't have the Rose or the KS though so I can't compare.

It looks like isticks are the best fitting mod for these? What else do they match up well with?
I have tried mine on the Sig mini and the Cloupor mini. Works well with both but fits best with the Cloupor which is pretty well the same size as the istick40.

And that painful wait begins for vape mail from China... :D

I placed an order with FC a week ago, and they haven't even shipped it yet. Not sure what the delay is. I had $17 worth of coupons though so I guess I can't complain. I essentially got one item for free.

That's the only thing I dislike about FC is you don't know if stuff is in stock, limbo or wherever. If they had FT's active inventory (sort of) type system they would be much better. Also an ePacket shipping method to Canada, nothing ever tracks properly from NL post.

Congrats on the Free item, free is always good! :D

So, I figured out why my tank cracked. It's definitely my fault (sorta!) This tank is made of PMMA, not polycarbonate (per the Kanvape website.)

PMMA is apparently not as strong as PC. When I adjust the 510 connection so that the RTA sits straight on my mod, I also have to press down really hard to keep it from popping up from the 510's rotatable base (if I don't push hard, it sits crooked.)

So me pressing down hard is what cracked it, not the juice. I just did the same thing to my black KS RTA and I never even got far enough to fill it with a juice! Glad I have 2 more on the way lol.

I suppose my point is, be careful pushing down on this thing when you adjust it. It's fragile. The section with the refill port especially!

Thanks for the heads up. If I cracked it, I just might cry. So far, so good.

I haven't adjusted mine much because I keep it on the same mod, but it seems if I just back off one of the screws slightly, it turns enough without popping up.

I wish I was that lucky. If I unscrew mine even slightly, the whole thing pops up. It actually scared me the first time lol.

My KS has shipped from FC and the GS II is on its way from FT. I cant wait for both of these to get here, so I'll have to pick up some "Premium" juice to celebrate their first tankfuls. :D

I have really been enjoying mine. Great flavor and so easy to wick. I love the fact I can fill it up in the morning before I go to work and not have to worry about refilling it till the next morning.

I just ordered a Sigelei 75W TC which will be the KS's new home. Can't wait to throw a nickel build in it. Should be awesome. :)

What ohm coils are y'all using in your KS? Does it handle subohm well? I currently have a 1.6 coil in mine and it's ok but getting some dry hits, though I am wicking challenged.

I'm using a 2.4mm, 7 spaced wraps of 27ga kanthal. Clocks in at 1.1Ω. I've been vaping it at 28 Watts. No dry hits.

Wicking it is piece of cake. Watch Todd's review on Youtube if you haven't already. Works perfectly.

I've been wicking like Todd does as well. 28 gauge, usually around 1.1~1.3 ohms, 20 watts, and I barely even have to open the juice control. If anything, it wicks too well, and I occasionally get spitting from it.

The only thing I would add is that when you pull the shoulder out to the top of the channels, just barely do so. One time I tried pulling a bit more out and I started getting dry hits, but even then it was solved by opening the juice control a lot more.

Are you using Japanese cotton for wicks? I've thought of trying rayon, but I have a TON of Japanese cotton.
