These 3 BAM dna 75C and a pulse II with aftermarket ultem doors. All 4 of these mods have Haku Vennas on them. All running in TC but only the BAMs are running flavor because of that preheat / escribe. Got a BMM snitch V2 in the post to me now.Looking forward to mixing that in.
the original mod maker 510’s were recently replaced with new ones on the BAMs. Them bams are like 3-4 years old

I'd much rather have pictures in this thread, just sayin'

I agree, but I didn't want anyone to think I'd started this thread to compete with the long-running Squonk Porn thread.

I started it, because I'm a) I'm a squonkaholic, and b) I was curious about what other people used on a daily basis

BAM’s are tanks. My DNA 75 BAM is basically like new.

Indeed they are. I am fortunate to have 4. The oldest one I have is a DNA 75 with a fixed varitube 510 (no spring). Never leaked a drop. Next oldest one is a DNA 75C with a mod maker 510. It leaked over time. Just had the 510 replaced with a new mod maker on it and a newer BAM DNA 75C. My newest BAM has a fixed varitube and it never leaked.

had to epoxy the positive contact on one too after I dropped it but it’s rock solid again.

So I run the 3 DNA 75C on the daily along with this BMM snitch V2 I just got yesterday. It’s bad ayuss too - 18650 but much more compact than the BAMs. But not so small that it’s a PITA to use - had a few mods like that. Theres a difference in being small and too small.

BMM makes nice mods. I have one Rico in rotation. Perfect size and weight for driving.

I've been running 2 pdib dibi GigaPUNCH with velocities. What can I say, I'm a cloud hound.

I have a BAM DNA75C with a Haku topper for mornings when I feel like a little light vaping.

I love the BAM. Thankfully I was able to pick one up in the classy's later on. While they were in production I was too busy buying dibi's. (Currently 9)

Nice to see you hanging out again SXD! :headbang:

dam son, that’s a lot of bees you got there . I remember the one I had from one of the first batches and it was bad ayuss but I started to get into the regulated side of things and rehomed it. Don’t really use mechs at all ATM. The ones I do have, a couple of grands, a P67 - a peon and later one from peasant - I think it’s called a minion, are very nice but I have become reliant on (spoiled by) TC cause I’m such a lazy :censored::censored:.

Many a regulated mod has passed thru my hands and the bams have been my favorite hands down except now I’m diggin the BMM too. I like the comfort of knowing that he’s actively making mods and servicing them. I wish Turbocad6 still was.

Yeah man it’s good to dip back in to where it all started for me and to see y’all’s familiar names n stuff.

still mainly use FB for vape groups but finding my password for here recently was a good move.

good to see ya boss and merry Christmas to you and yours. :toast:

Better late to the party than never again s_X_d. I don't do FB, but good to see you are still active someplace.

I no longer vape, but the last gear I used was naturally still the 67's.

No doubt it's been a long time since we passed in life.

When Robert shut down the Reo forum March 2016 I spent around a year and a half on an African forum. Then when I came back here I found that most of the old gang had departed or went on to places unknown. I have piddled around here some off and on, to help folks some, post some pictures, etc. But the old fires were burning low so I began to lose interest in vaping early last year.

I don't celebrate holidays anymore, but enjoy great holidays with your beautiful family.

Been a while, I planned to a post your favorite Squonk kit and found this thread. Have a fair few Squonkers mostly with a Profile on top, but my go to is a Topside Carbon. #2 is a Topside Dual. I also run a VV V2 and Aegis. My most hated is a Drone with the defective 510 feed system and akward cover.

    .

Thank you brother. Holidays were very low key here this year.

but don’t those fires burn out man. Many are still roaring. Not what it used to be and most new gear is pretty lame IMO. I stick with my older mods mostly (regulated ones that Turbocad6 made called BIg Apple Mods (or BAM)) but he quit making them when he found his dream job. Can’t blame him though I’d do the same. Now that I got the BMM mod it’s been excellent as well. And great CS. But yeah Facebook only.

as far as mechs, not really diggin the new incarnations - they try to make them as small as possible, imo most are too small that my preferred bottles won’t fit.

I prefer simple box mechs and made of plastic like delrin or ultem or even a good print. But again - Facebook.

the pulse 2 mod is a great compromise, it’s plastic, had its own proprietary bottom fill system, compact but not too small, been bulletproof, inexpensive and can be used in bypass mode so it functions like a mech with battery voltage. But with the ability to run it in wattage mode, seems that would be the preferred option for vape consistency and ability to bump it up or down a few watts to suit your mood or build. And it’s inexpensive and available. Online no Facebook required.

I usually use TC when I run a flavor and the pulse is not very good in that application. On it I use TC just to ensure no dry hits for my lazy self since TC had spoiled me. I just had to tweak the TCR so that it won’t fire a dry wick and vaping unflavored couldn’t be easer for the lazy spoiled Vaper.

be good to see ya return man - maybe a change in hardware and a nice new single coil cotton atty would stoke that fire ?

i recently helped an oldschool diehard REOnaut convert to a pulse 2 because of lack of REO support and he loves it, first regulated. It was a game changer for him. Just slapped on his atty, fiddled with wattage to get the hit right and game on. If it breaks in a year it was 1/3 the price of a grand so ya bin it and pull out your backup :). My guess is it will last yearS tho. And they are actively made, albeit in China.

let’s get you back in the game - player yeah ?

Don’t forget that I was not addicted to nicotine at all when I started vaping Russ, so I never used it in my DIY juice from the start. That made stopping vaping just a matter of my deciding to do so, same as when I stopped smoking before I had even heard of vaping. I will not take vaping or smoking up again.

As for why I lost interest in vaping, it had nothing to do with the gear I was using then. It was the gear that I considered the best I had ever bought for my style of DL vaping. My last two years of vaping was based on my starting to buy up a bunch of mesh atty’s. The top shelf of them was mech Reo’s with mesh RDA’s naturally, followed by some of my other squonk mods also running mesh RDA’s (Squeeze 2’s, Topsides, DS’s, etc) and some of my regulated mods running mesh RTA’s. After being a vaping fiend almost 24/7/365 for six and a half years I just didn’t want to vape anymore. No doubt part of that was because of the massive exodus of the manufactures I bought most of my gear from closing their doors (the owners of most of them had become friends), and the exodus of the crews that I ran with on their forums. My health also took a huge nose dive, and with that my not wanting to do much of anything anymore. I still dabble a little here just for something to do when bored, but with my eyesight being what it is now using computers will also soon fade away. I think I am lucky in a way that I will not have to deal with what is going to happen to vaping itself. But I do hope those that do have a need to vape will always find ways to continue to do so despite what the bottom dwellers in government does.

Current daily driver is a black DotMod DotSquonk 100w box with an Origen Mini-16 atty. 16mm atomizer in a single coil config @ 27 watts.

I even still use a vase-shaped drip tip, lol.

I used REO Grand mods for about four years, but I lost one in a fire and the other is now in storage as my last defense against tyranny. Mechs are nice but I definitely like having VV/VW.

And the DotMod squonk boxes are so darn sexy.
