Ss clapton

Hello!

Yesterday I builded some SS clapton wire. . 24awg and around 28awg.. BTW my first clapton build. . reader says it's .18ohm.. on dual setup.. but the taste is amwul. . On twisted SS it was grate. . So I am wondering where is the problem...

Wicking is not the isue... i can wick griffin with my eyes closed. .
Tryed spaced, contact. . Doesnt matter... same crappy taste..

crappy as in dry hit or no flavor? try upping your wattage, those outer wraps are huge, would take a lot of power to ramp up.
Probably use 32ga or higher for the outer wraps.

It's like ... eemmm like trying dryburn just coil.. nasty ironing smell-taste.. I think maybe it is overheating or something.. too masive coil I supose.. Tried vape tool it said from 40 to 90w should be fine trying.. to understand why is that.. you know first serious coil.. and one more thing after couple puffs resistance fallen down from 0.18 to 0.12

Also had these sizes at home that's why so big coil.. just to try and see whats happens..

Welcome and glad you joined. Hard to tell where problem is, too many variables. Best bet: start with a know good build that works for you and adjust one element at a time until you hit the bad setting.

Kinda sounds like your wire to post connection is not secure. Maybe its because your using something so thick to wrap (i use ss 36g for claptons) that it does not connect ideally. I say this because after a couple puffs, your ss 0.18 might rise to 0.19 or so. It should definitely not go down. That would mean a short or bad connection.
