SS coil building questions

I have a dna200 coming and I have also ordered some 317I SS wire. Anyone have experience building with SS? Does it need to be spaced etc.? Any toss it trucks are appreciated.

It does not have to be spaced. you can build contact coils with it with no problem. Not sure what gauge you have but SS has a much lower resistance per ft than kanthal does. Its very easy to work with because it is extremely soft.

Is it ok to dry burn like kanthal, or is that bad like on nickel or titanium

i have dry burned it with no problems.

How does the resistance compare to nickel or titanium? Trying to decide whether I should go with stainless steel or titanium? Liking that stainless steel can be contact coils.
