For the vivi nova, I'd recommend 1mm. both my mini and 3.5ml have 4 X 1mm wicks installed on their original heads.
I tried the 2mm with 2 wicks and then split them as they went down into the juice and although that works too, I seem to get better wicking when using the 4 X 1mm.
For the SS mesh, I don't know much about it, but I do know the type you get, depends on the ratio of liquid you expect to use with it.
