OK, think I got the SS mesh wick shorting problem corrected

Now, has anyone noticed any discoloring of their ejuice when using a SS mesh wick?

In the picture below is an XL clearomizer on the right that hasn't been altered in any way with my DIY peppermint ejuice. On the left is a Repairable CE2 with a SS mesh wick with the same ejuice. The ejuice has been in the Repairable CE2 for less than 24 hrs and there is a noticeable change in the color. The color in the picture isn't from a shadow or anything like that, it's real. Any ideas why this is hapening?

TIA

I thought about doing that asdaq, only thing is the posts on the Repairable CE2 aren't insulated (at the moment anyway).

That's what I figured was happening, not sure about vaping juice like this. Think I'll just put the SS mesh on the back burner for now; I have some silica sleeveing on order. Will have to order some teflon shrink tubing.

The back burner is getting quite crowded now

Not sure if it's the 'power' of the rebuilt CE2, the discoloration of the juice or if I'm coming down with a bug; but hitting off of that CE2 gives me a 'prickling' in my throat. Think I'll change out the juice and let the fresh juice set for a day, repeat and then try it again.

I did get my silica wicking in today, gonna try that tomorrow.

TC...another thing that will change the color of the juice in the tank is if there is not a good separation of the tank and coil chamber...allowing the condensation/burnt juice to drain back to the tank.

Hmmm, no separation of the tank and coil chamber :D. CE2 w/o any seals. Started removing the seals from my CE2s a couple of months ago. Easy refill, just drip; plus condensate doesn't end up in the air tube. The nice thing about box mods - they stand up :D.
