Does anyone have a link to a fairly priced SS tank?

The SS tanks that I've seen online are pretty expensive. Almost as much as the SS LT from Apollo.

Apollo keeps pushing the date back for the SS presale. I hope they are true to their word and honor their SS preorders soon...and not 3-6 months from now.

Anyways, I want to get a SS tank to use for when the SS LT arrives.

I currently have a black logo-less LT that I use along with a black delrin DC tank. I don't use dual coils though.

I use XL CE2's that I cut myself, and they fit pretty nicely in the DCT. I also wanted to eventually try a maptank, but those seem to cost a pretty penny as well, and they are always sold out.

So an SS DC tank may work. Or just an SS tank to match the new SS Vtube/LT (whatever you want to call it), that can fit an XL CE2.

BTW...SS stands for Stainless Steel, and Sad Society.:(

Hey Sad! Here are the 2 I have researched and found to be the CHEAPEST: DFW Vapor(COUPON CODE: DO15) and Vapor Station( This VENDOR you can actually set your PRICE)! If your looking for a DURABLE tank, with NO WORRIES of CRACKING, go with a PHINIAC tank! Their tanks(PHINIAC) are made of PYREX and LAST forever! They have the option to purchase Stainless Steel end caps and they can SAND BLAST a custom image(DEPENDS on the DETAILED work of the image) on your tank! I just purchased an XL tank with this CUSTOM IMAGE to be sand blasted on it:

Every tank I have seen with a full SS body is very expensive. I do prefer (after trying one) that no window = a pain. I finally went with a compromise:
VPX Cartomator Cartomizer Stainless Steel Tanks
I have polished caps (in stainless) and the same smoked black tube. Total cost was around 20$ as I ordered one tank for my caps and one for the tube body. I did not know about these at the time, but this is the look of what I have. Tube was ordered as a DCT with the plastic caps and my caps are from an 808 SS tank that was frosted white.

Cheap stainless caps for DCT:
6ml DCT SmokTech Dual Coil Carto Tank 6.0 ml from Mr-E

Tubes can be had in any color from your favorite vendor (or MV or TW or V4l).

I am thinking about aluminum tape over a clear tube with a window carefully cut with an xacto...I will try to post pics if I finally do it.

There are chrome tank caps that are plastic with a chrome coating. Are those the solid metal ones? (I ended up with the chrome plastic ones first, but ordered the metal ones from a different vendor). I got alot of my tank caps (the stainless and aluminum caps) from V4L when they had them at 40% off.

With the 6ml ones I'm pretty sure they are because of weight but not 100%..the 3.5ml ones it's hard to tell I think they weigh more but short of scratching one I can't really tell because they are so small. When I touch them to my lips they feel cold unlike the plastic black cap ones I have not sure if coated ones feel cold like that or not. The product description says metal end caps also. In any case I've been happy so far with them.
