Well today my display started going out.

Also have the hot bottom cap spring issue that was never addressed from the vendor.
They said they would send a new spring....but never got anything.

Have a new ticket opened to see what can be done. Its only been around two weeks of having this thing....
Black chrome one still running strong...

Seems if I press on the display a little, it will show up again.
But after awhile, it fades again.

    Maybe a bad connection...

Depending on the vendor - most carry a 30 day exchange. Get another one ASAP.

I have seen the week display issue when the battery didn't have good contact. I would suspect the spring or seating of the battery first from my experience. I even noticed when I saw this "screen fade" effect that I could tap the display and it would come back but what I was actually doing by tapping was shaking the battery just a bit and causing the contact to get better/worse.

In my case, I took the cap off, reseated the spring and cleaned the battery contacts. No problems since.

The vendor replied to the ticket, and said I could send it back.
They just got new Vamo's and new springs apparently, so I might as well.

I am waiting on a spring from Health Cabin as well. It's coming, I have a tracking number, just slowly. Can't blame them for shipping it via the mail as it would cost a thousand times what the spring did to ship it any other way,

Well they got me a new replacement.
This one is actually better.... even the bottom 18650 extension matches the finish of the rest of the unit. Bonus!

Here is a pic of the new spring they added
