Sorry to be off topic, but is the stealth cap the same as the Rev1 4-in-1 cap? Also, do you have to have the liquid collector tank with air control to use the Ody base? Thanks.

Ody 2 is newest. It is a similar wick/coil config in a ceramic cup with juice control as the Pen. There is no air control on the Pen as of yet as can be achieved with the GGTS Ody Base. There has been no indication that Odys are discontinued. They are currently sold out at vendors sites hence the inflated prices on the classies and unofficial GG vendor sites.

The Ody and Penelope come with everything you need to use them on many 510 devices though on some 510 devices you may need a 510-510 extension. Both fit a Provari just fine. To get the most benefit out of an Ody with a GGTS an Ody base is recommended as it allows air/draw control and it makes the unit one linear piece. It attaches directly to the tube instead of a 510 connection making it super sturdy.

Either can be used on a GGTS Rev. 2 as is but there will be an unsightly and precarious gap. A Stealth Cap will rectify that for both or an Ody base for the Ody. The Ody base does not work with a Pen

You will want to get either more ready wires or separate (R)esistance wire (Kanthal D, A or A-1 32 AWG or Nichrome 32 are the standards though you can use other gauges) and NR (no resistance) wire (.999 silver dead soft 30 gauge ) to make your own. Both tank mods come with only 1 ready wire. They also come with a meter of 3mm silica wick which should last awhile but pick some of that up too. There is some xc-116 ceramic wick that some are using as well not to mention steel mesh, cotton, hemp and other experimental media.

If vendors are out if the above items, they are readily available from other sources.

The Pennys are surely not going to be discontinued any time soon as they are optimized to complement the upcoming Proteus.

He has R wire and wick. NR wire I just got off amazon. Jeweler supplies carry silver wire. Get the .999 pure silver, dead soft, 30 gauge.

the ODY v2 is the newest correct? Is this essentially the same thing as a penelope but bigger? are they no longer being made and that is why they are so expensive when they come up in the classy's?

do they and the penelope come with everything you need?

CloudsofVapor had the Ody listed as V3 today when I looked at the description. I'm not sure about the V3, but the V2 apparently added the metal channel to the negative side of the ceramic piece as opposed to the V1 that had ceramic channels on both sides for the wick and wire. Hope that helps.

The Odysseus is the Iatty 2 and there are two versions of the Ody, so technically it would be ver 3. That is if the Iatty did not go through any revision changes.

sedge - yea I believe it is a typo. The way I look at it the Iatty is an Iatty, and the Odysseus is the Odysseus, even though the Odysseus is a second generation Iatty. The version 2, which is just the housing and ceramic, is the newest version.

With a GGTS and a Z Atty G, you need nothing besides a battery to be vaping away happily. The Z Atty G has a native GGTS connection - needs no adapters to screw right on.

You do not need a stealth cap - you may WANT a stealth cap - it will let you use native 510 devices with your GGTS without using adaptors, it will let you make your GGTS into a GG Stealth (more compact, uses smaller battery, 510 connection only).

That looks fantastic Landlord! How well is the kick working for you in the TS? I have problems with misfires and it stops all together when my battery drains to 3.6 under load. And it drains REALLY FAST!

River what do you mean by fast? Do the kicks not work like the Provari? The reason I ask is I just got one to use in the TS with 18560's.

Well first let me say that my TS was bought used and some of my pieces have compatibility issues so keep that in mind.
My experience with the kick has not been good and am not going to use it again until my new TS comes in. Hopefully it will be better. The Provari is far more efficient and will continue to work until the battery is 3.2v under load, not 3.6v like the kick. I didn't measure time or liquid use but I swear it seemed like 15 hits or less before my 18350 hit 3.6v. The misfires are a major pain in the ... too.
Hopefully my new TS will be friendlier with the kick but honestly the fact that it stops at 3.6v under load is a real problem for me. I need to look further into it though as it might be a user cause issue.

The Kick in my TS fires flawlessly as well as the Kicks in my other devices. Granted they do whittle down battery time, but that's why one gets another top tube or a non-OEM extension tube like that sold over on a UKV thread so on can use an 18650. Life of an 18490 ain't bad, but the 350s would suck. I gotta run my Kicks. I love the vape consistency and with the Ody its pure pleasure. I know GG purest might disagree.
