How bad of an idea is it to stack 2 18350 batteries in a charger that is too long to fit them single. My charger will fit 18650 and longer but won't fit 18350's. So if I put 2 18350's in my charger stacked it will fit, but will it charge? and is it really unsafe or just kinda? Has anyone tried this and lived to tell about it? If so let me know how it went.

Please don't make a decision until you get a lot more replies.
Wait for the battery experts to come in here and give their opinion.

And definitely look at post count when weighing the replies you get.
Post count doesn't mean everything, but it does tend to weed out the background noise.
:)

As for me, I have nothing to say, because I am not an expert in this area by any means.
But I do look forward to what comes of this discussion.

That will not work. For many reasons.

For one, battery voltage needs to be lower than the charger voltage. Stacking batteries will double the voltage, and current would tend to flow to the lower potential, or the charger.

Two, a charger can't monitor each battery individually, if two batteries are in series.

There are more reasons. Just don't do it.
